Anfänger Fotografie Kurs - kleine Gruppe Workshop

I wasn’t sure what I would be able to learn in 4 hours, but Lou is a great tutor and I was amazed at how much I picked up and feel confident to put into practice. Words such as ISO, aperture and shutter speed are no longer a mystery and my camera manual might actually get read and mean something! Planning to do the night photography one soon! 😊

I’ve never been able to remember the different settings for my camera. Lou made it so easy to remember the difference between shutter speeds, iso, focus etc. It’s all very practical. I was having huge problems with my camera and she took the time to help me sort it all out (it needed to have a factory reset). Every holiday I’ve been on since I’ve been able to use my knowledge from this trip to take some really wonderful pictures. I look forward to doing another course.

The perfect course for me, I’m one of those who have been stuck on ‘auto and scene’ modes for years. This course really showed me what can be achieved with just a little bit of knowledge. Lou took the time and care to explain the basics to everyone in the group without us getting out of our depth. Now I have some clarity of what was previously a confusing range of setting, I’m well on the way to finding my way round the camera and getting better shots as a result.

A thoroughly enjoyable, informative and educational beginner's workshop. Truly hands-on. I learnt so much about the camera and photography basics - much needed. A professional and thoughtful operation with a very enthusiastic teacher, keeping everyone involved and on track despite a variety of camera makes and models. Very much recommended.

I inherited a camera and had no idea what to do with it, so I chose this course because it was good for complete beginners. It was a great course - I learned so much in the five hours and I've been happily playing about with my shutter speeds, ISOs, white balances and apertures since. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to improve - I was the most beginner on the course but there were far more advanced people than me and we all benefitted.

Just a quick note to say thank you very much for a highly informative course. I feel a lot more confident now as I think I understand a lot more about my cameras functionality and the inter-relationships between the various functions. A lot of practice is now required to make it all stick! I will be back for the next level course early in 2018. Once again a big thank you for your patience and instruction it was excellent. I have a pretty intimidating camera and wanted to come to grips with it. This four hours was perfect. I felt like they really helped me to become self sufficient and handle my camera with ease and also introduced me to the basic tenets of photography in an easy to understand manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will probably be going on another, more intermediate course with them.
