Anna did an amazing job engaging the group and keeping us entertained. We learnt a lot about the process of extracting and processing chocolate. We also got to have lots of chocolate and make our own chocolate to bring home, which was a ton of fun! Really family friendly.
Paula was fantastic teacher. Class was actually educational and very fun.
Fun and very informative. Lovely to spend time learning about the process and making our own chocolate.
Company was great & communicative (WhatsApp). Had to change my date & time multiple times (due to other tours) & they accommodated each time! I was even 10m late to class, & they still let me in. Their location change still provided for a wonderful atmosphere. Cusco’s chocolate is next level! Our guide, Luis, was great. He did so much on his own; it was more of a lot of watching and listening. I think it would be better if he either had an assistant or if the participants were more involved. For example, instead of watching him do all the prep work or cleanup, the tasks could be divided between the participants. It will make it: 1. more interactive and 2. less work for Luis/one person! He did need to use an app for his limited English. Fortunately, we had a wonderful attendant who spoke Spanish fluently & so kindly translated more complex questions when needed. Def worth the money. You’re basically paying for the bag of chocolate you made that you get to take home & the experience of learning & meeting other great people in the process :)
This was a really cool experience. It was informative and fun, and you get to eat chocolate. What’s not to enjoy??
My husband and I have done quite a few chocolate museum and workshops in our travels (Im a chocolate finatic) and this one is one of our favorites! It is extremely interactive and we discovered a new found love for cocao bean shell tea! Our guide was amazing and we got take home our own handmade chocolate.
Learned a lot about the process of making chocolate. Got to participate in all different stages. Our instructor was great and the chocolate was delicious.
Great experience. I learned and I are what more could you ask for in this day and time. The instructor was engaging and patient.
Fantastic and informative experience, well worth the time. Had a lot of fun with the teacher and fellow travelers! Make sure you look at the accurate location-it’s at the store location heading up to San Blas, not near the main town square.
It was a nice class but a bit confusing at the beginning from the receptionist. It's not easy grinding chocolate beans, but i had a great time. It's not something that I would do again though..
