It was a lot of fun to learn more about the El Born and Gothic areas of Barcelona and have the opportunity to be shown places that locals choose to eat. This was a wonderful to way try many different foods and drinks and meet new people.

Our delightful and knowledgeable guide, Petra, led the small group through quaint streets and alleys to hidden gems for a wide-range tasting of tapas and local beverages - ending with a beautiful seafood paella and cava. Petra and the Carpe Diem Company clearly aimed to accommodate all guests and to make this experience enjoyable and worthwhile for all.
