The guide was very funny and passionate about the stories he was recounting during the tour. It made him very fun to listen to him talk and the stories were very fascinating.
It was an excellent tour. The guide is wonderful. He was so funny! He is fast-paced and animated so it wasn't dry and we learned a lot. We liked the variety of information he provided -- we learned a lot about the city and it's history in general.
This walking tour was very interesting. Our guide told dark stories but, somehow managed to use a great sense of humor.
Excellent tour with knowledgeable guide sharing stories that made some of the dark tales from history come alive.
This was such a fun tour! Our tour guide was so funny, and it was worth the money spent! It was definitely more of a “dark history” tour than a “ghost tour”, which is what I personally enjoy, so it would be best for teenagers and adults who are more into the history rather than ghosts and ghost stories. Either way, super enjoyable, not a bad walk around at all, and I really thought our tour guide was a great guy! He lifted the mood well while talking about some pretty bad (yet interesting!) facts and stories.
It was a very interesting tour. Our guide Ewan was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insight into the history of Barcelona and Spain, he tried to lift our spirits with humour whenever he could, even though he had to share the dark and sad history of the Roman area of Barcelona aka the Gothic Quarters. Would absolutely recommend.
Interesting tour of some of Barcelona’s most famous serial killers and the legends of the ghosts they left behind. It was a good way to get out and see some of Barcelona as well because the tour took you through the back alleys of shops and was near the Cathedral de Barcelona. I do recommend this walking tour.
Honestly great craic - seen bits off the city we would have missed and learned lots of wee bits we wouldn't have. Ewan was amazing, knew what he was talking about and made it fun even with the topics as we went along. Highly recommend! Highlight of our trip!
The guide speaks with a very sharp accent and very fast. He was asked 3 times if you could talk slower.
A very good tour for exploring the Gothic quarter. We much appreciated the historical knowledge and friendly delivery of the guide. Maybe we were expecting a few more spine chilling ghost stories though, as well as bloodcurdling historical atrocities? Very good that the latter were included, but the tour is billed as "Ghosts and Legends". Perhaps better to change the name to something like: 'Barcelona's bloodcurdling, Or dark past - ghostly legends and gory history, OR gory reality...' By the way, we really appreciated the guide's thought provoking comments at the last stop about Spain's failure so far to honestly confront or even acknowledge the events and horrors of the Dictatorship. Thank you for the tour
