Mit mehr als 260 Kilometern Radwegen ist Barcelona eine sehr "fahrradfreundliche" Stadt zu besuchen. Beginnend im historischen "Gotischen Viertel", dann fahren wir in das "Eixample" Viertel, das nach dem Abriss der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauern gebaut wurde, weiter zum Olympischen Dorf, entlang der schönen Küste Barcelonas bis Port Vell (dem alten Hafen). Begleiten Sie mich auf eine spannende, unterhaltsame und informative Reise. Während Sie die meisten bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten Barcelonas entdecken, erfahren Sie auch mehr über die Geschichte, Stadtentwicklung, Architektur und politische Landschaft der Stadt. Antoni Gaudís "must-see" Kreationen, die außergewöhnliche Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà (auch bekannt als "La Pedrera") und Casa Batlló werden die Höhepunkte dieser Tour sein.

Dies ist unser Treffpunkt und einer der schönsten Plätze Barcelonas – wenn nicht der schönste. In seiner Mitte steht der bemerkenswerte Brunnen der drei Gnaden, und in der Nähe können Sie zwei einzigartige Laternenpfähle bewundern, die von Antoni Gaudí selbst entworfen wurden.
Ein wunderschöner Platz, der als politisches Herz der Stadt dient und sowohl das Rathaus von Barcelona (Ajuntament) als auch den Palast der katalanischen Regierung (Palau de la Generalitat) beherbergt.
Die Kathedrale des Heiligen Kreuzes und der Heiligen Eulalia ist ein herrliches mittelalterliches Meisterwerk. Direkt draußen auf dem Platz können Sie auch beeindruckende Reste der alten römischen Mauern bewundern, die einst die Stadt schützten.
Ein berühmter und spektakulärer modernistischer Konzertsaal, entworfen von Lluís Domènech i Montaner, einem bedeutenden zeitgenössischen Architekten von Antoni Gaudí. Dieses atemberaubende Gebäude wurde 1997 zum UNESCO-Kulturerbe erklärt.
Am Passeig de Gràcia, der elegantesten Straße der Stadt, gelegen, ist dies der prestigeträchtigste Block der katalanischen Moderne. Hier können Sie drei architektonische Meisterwerke nebeneinander bewundern: Casa Batlló (von Antoni Gaudí), Casa Amatller (von Josep Puig i Cadafalch) und Casa Lleó i Morera (von Lluís Domènech i Montaner).

Erbaut als großes Eingangstor zur ersten Weltausstellung Barcelonas 1888. Es steht am Anfang der Passeig de Lluís Companys, die direkt zum Park Ciutadella führt, wo sich die Ausstellungspavillons befanden.
Dieser wunderschöne Park, einst Standort einer Militärfestung, wurde im späten 19. Jahrhundert angelegt und ist heute die beliebteste Grünfläche der Stadt. Während unserer Fahrt werden wir den monumentalen Wasserfall, den malerischen Ruderbootsee, den historischen Paradeplatz (Plaça d'Armes) und die erhaltenen Gebäude der alten Zitadelle entdecken.
Erbaut und entwickelt für die Olympischen Spiele 1992, war dieses Viertel der Katalysator für die Öffnung Barcelonas zum Meer. Heute bietet es eine malerische, luftige Fahrt entlang der transformierten Uferpromenade und dem modernen Hafen.
Eine Fahrt durch La Barceloneta, einst ein traditionelles Fischer- und Arbeiterviertel, das bis heute unglaublich lebendig und malerisch ist.
Heute ein luxuriöser Yachthafen, der einige der teuersten Superyachten der Welt beherbergt, liegt dieses Gebiet auf dem ehemaligen Handelshafen der Stadt. Es bietet einen wunderschönen, weiten Blick auf den gesamten historischen Hafen.

Jean-Pierre was truly amazing for this incredible bike ride in Barcelona. Not only were the landscapes beautiful, but it was thanks to you that we were able to understand the history of each neighborhood, the anecdotes, and the little secrets. Jean Pierre is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. My family were the only people for this tour and he was flexible for minor customizations that we requested. 3 hour tour without getting physically tired for the rest of the day, made it really worthwhile

Absolutely wonderful tour and history of Barcelona! Jon Pierre is a wealth of knowledge. The bicycling is very low energy and can be enjoyed by all! This is a must!!! Tour busses can’t even begin to show you what this tour offers!

Take this tour, it’s a delightful experience! Jean-Pierre is a wealth of knowledge about Barcelona and a patient, joy filled guide. Our group of 4 met him at an easy to find plaza, picked up bikes and saw more sites in a few hours than most would see in several days. What an absolute pleasure! My son and I were the only ones taking the tour on this hot Saturday in July, and we had the most wonderful time. We literally saw all the major sites of Barcelona and zipped through the streets with our guy, Jean Pierre, who is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We love bike tours because you get to see so much more than a walking tour, and your feet don’t get tired. Jean Pierre was FABULOUS- he had extensive knowledge of the city, its history and architecture. He kept just the right pace with the ride and the comments at each stop. If you’ve never done a bike tours, you need to do this one. If you’ve never done have done bike tours, you still need to do this one- and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Jean Pierre.
