Bangkok Floating Markets und Bootstour

Great inside look at the original floating market where the community of 6,000 living on the canal where there a lots of different markets some areas dedicated to teaching arts and crafts. Lots of food stalls and our tour guide Nina was the best!!! She expected guided us to booths that she personally likes. He tried various fruits and delicacies but sweet and savory. We saw the first “7-Eleven” in Bangkok which was a shop on the canal with almost anything you could want lol. We saw the postman in a boat delivering packages and gamers who bring their fruits and veggies to sell from their boat as well as chefs who cook food on their boat. We tried fried banana and sweet potatoes where the cook uses fresh oil. The coconut ice cream was great and we had some great Pad Thai for just $2! The experience was great and we highly recommend this tour and company and guide. Barry the owner likes to select more special tours that show more of the culture than typical touristy tours. This floating market is only open on the eeeekends do plan accordingly. You will not be disappointed!

We had such a wonderful experience on our floating market tour this morning! Our guide (Tem) was exceptionally helpful, warm, and friendly, with such a genuinely pleasing personality that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. My daughter and I especially loved the boat ride and getting to experience the floating market up close. We also really enjoyed learning about the different flavours and foods of Thailand. Our guide did an excellent job explaining the history, culture, and context behind what we were seeing and tasting, making the tour both fun and meaningful. It was a lovely way to experience a different side of Thailand, and we truly appreciated our guide’s knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm throughout the tour. Highly recommended, especially for families!

The floating markets in Bangkok is worth seeing, and Nina was a very good guide, who took us around and introduced us to lots of food to try in the markets. At the end of the tour, she also ordered a taxi for us to get back to hotel.

This was a lovely experience seeing a more authentic side of Bangkok and the floating markets. Nina was very good - knowledgeable and also helped us choose good snacks to try at the markets. This tour is recommended.

This was amazing! We saw so many things that one would never know about if it wasn’t for this experience. It was a fabulous opportunity to taste authentic Thai food, see family homes, and even an orchid farm. Nina (our guide) helped us to learn a lot about the Thai culture. She is the best!

This tour was a very cool cultural and culinary experience. Dhem, the tour guide, showed us a temple where in addition to giving us cultural information, he made us part of some rituals, such as the preparation of the lotus flower🪷. We visited a floating market where we started tasting food, then we went boating through the canals, visited some places like the orchid farm, visited a large market with an extensive variety of foods of all flavors and colors; and of course we tasted many of those delights thanks to Dhem! The truth is that it was a very good experience as we were able to see, experience and eat new things that are part of Thai culture and that would have been difficult for us to live on our own. The guide is very nice and speaks Spanish too, which made the tour easier! I recommend the tour to know more about Bangkok and take a nice memory!!!

Tem was an amazing guide. He showed us his city in a very close way, we learned a lot and, in addition, we could talk in Spanish, something that is always very grateful. We had a great time, I highly recommend it if you are looking for a tour with someone who really enjoys what they do. He's a lovely person.

We had a fantastic tour with Dhem as our guide! She was very knowledgeable and got us to try many foods in the market which would have never tried if we had gone by ourselves! We absolutely loved the boat trip - would definitely recommend!

The most wonderful experience with our tour guide Dhem. We ate so much delicious food and learned so much about local culture. Visiting the temple and learning about the worshipping rituals - something we will never forget! A must do!
