Balos & Gramvousa : Kreuzfahrt mit Mahlzeiten, Getränken & Transfer

We had a blast on this boat cruise! The scenery and beaches were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was kind. We were comfortable without the VIP tickets, and still had plenty of room on the benches and the net at the front of the boat. Parking was easy at the port nearby. I’d recommend this tour to everyone!

Excellent prompt service and a fun voyage to scenic beaches. Alfonso, our guide, gave interesting historical insights as well as good music for the voyage. Food was great too as a bonus!!

This was an amazing excursion. We purchased the VIP and it was worth it. The staff, especially Alfonso, the host with most, was great. Alonso brought wonderful energy. The two stops were perfect. We hiked to the top of the fortress. The view was amazing. The food and drinks on the boat were delicious. The transportation showed up on time and there was excellent communication from the moment we booked our tour. I highly recommend this tour.

It was a wonderful day! The crew was friendly and fun. Plenty of life jackets, pool noodles, float, and snorkel supplies for all who wanted them. The boat had places in the sun and shade. Light snacks, lunch, and soft drinks were available throughout the day. Very friendly to kids. The only negative/suggestion I would give is that if you are driving yourself to the port, I wish there would’ve been better signage or communication about exactly where the boat would be and where it would be best to park.

A must-do, especially if in the Kissamos area. VIP tickets are very worth it, especially for couples. The boat itself is magnificent, but not as much as the crew! The vibe and mood was perfection, felt safe and in good company the entrie trip. The two stops themselves are out of this world. Since this cruise arrives before the ferries, it isn't packed with people (which makes for greate photos and enhances the views). These locations are must-see in themselves, but experiencing them with this cruise is even better. Having the freedom to either stay on boat, transported to destination, or swim/bathe/snorkle is extremely nice. One could even combine them all if one keeps track of the time. Bring a sweater or something (we had around 30°C), as it might get windy and a bit cold in the shade when the boat is sailing to/from the harbour (or seek out the sun). Food and bar was great. Their signature drink/cocktail from their Finnish bartender is really good. The transfer service worked really well, just call them in advance to get the pickup point.

I've visited Balos before by car twice. Having experienced this option, I can easily recommend it. Great crew, great mood and none of the torture of driving through that horrendous road. This particular boat was also the perfect size... It's big enough to have a great atmosphere but not large enough to have a huge crowd hitting the beach with you when you get there. We personally skipped going to yhe castle in gramvousa and instead went snorkeling around the boat.

The Denari Lux crew... Captain Alex, Irene, Alfonso, Mike, Chef, First Mate Alex or Alec and the rest of the crew.....wow! I apologize for not remembering everyones names. We are sad today was our last day on the island because this crew was so amazing we would be back tomorrow! Honestly today with these amazing people has made us already start discussing how we can get back here to spend time with them again. The experience we had today with the Lux crew was one that I do not think there are enough words in my vocabulary to fully describe our experience. Let's start from the beginning and hope I don't miss any details. - The free transfer was great. The bus was clean and the driver was friendly and organized. A few minutes delayed this morning and afternoon but thats life when one person is relying on 60+ people to be on time. -From the moment you start walking from the bus towards the boat, all you see is the whole crew of Lux looking back at you smiling. There's upbeat music and a welcoming crew that makes you want to run onto the boat! - We did VIP so we had sun loungers on the top deck. So we went up and placed our things. It was SO CLEAN! They definitely put alot of love and care into this boat! -Breakfast/Brunch- There was some breads and danishes, coffee, tea and assorted sodas and alcohol available. Mike will hook you up with whatever concoction your heart desires. My daughters definitely kept him busy making alcohol free fruity drinks. My husband and I made sure he would need to replenish his coca cola and water supply! -Lunch- Let me tell you about chef! He definitely loves what he does and you can taste it! The chicken was moist and flavorful! The potatoes were so tender and buttery! Oh the stewed peppers and squash was absolutely amazing! The cretan salad was so refreshing and made you want to ask for seconds! I couldn't have the pasta due to being Celiac but my family said the seafood pasta was divine too! Ok enough about food and drink...... let's talk location! We went to Balos first and it was breath taking! The kids went snorkeling, went down the slide , and enjoyed the water with little to no other boats in the water. Oh it was so peaceful! The turquoise waters, the breeze, the amazing music pumping through the speakers.....paradise! -After about an hour or 2 we went to gramvousa and by that time there was probably 15 boats anchored so we were a bit away from shore. It too was beautiful . We took the smaller boat to shore. We didn't spend as much time as we thought we would on shore. The terrain and rocks just wasn't relaxing to navigate from the dock to the "beach" . The beach shore is rocks and then as you walk out the rocks are slippery from algae. I recommend actual water shoes for this beach and good shoes if you want to climb the 30 min up hill for the archeological site. We only stayed at this beach for about 30 minutes. We were all happier on the boat with the music, good people and the ability to swim off the boat. Funny how we came for the beautiful beaches and actually preferred to stay in the open water with the crew! Let's talk people........ The Lux Crew is some of the best humans we have ever met! Captain Alex- This man was everywhere ! He had eyes everywhere at all times! Somehow he found moments to help grab goggles for people, clear plates, and ensure the boat was in tiptop shape while expertly navigating the Lux! Let's not forget First mate Alec/Alex as he often was seen as the right hand man and always assisting Captain and the cruise goers! It was a great experience watching Captain and first mate dock the boat upon arrival. It truly was magic watching them work together! I hear First mate will become Captain next year and that will be much deserved! -Irene/Irini- She is so so so so friendly and lit up the room. She was always working quietly in the room but once you made eye contact she had all the questions! I found myself lingering at the bar area to chat with her! Mike-This man was electric! Friendly, personable, and charismatic!!! From his banter to the way he could make you feel like the most important person on the boat was fascinating! Though it was a bar, he made some fabulous non alcoholic drinks for our girls that were out of this world! Alfonso- The absolutely most welcoming and friendly person you could ever meet. Which is hard with this crew because everyone is so amazing. He took time to get to know everyone and make them feel seen. He asked people for music to play and it felt so genuine. He really wanted you to be living your best life for the hours you were with him. Honestly I am sure I am forgetting someone but I hope you see that this experience is worth every dime. Go live life and enjoy who you truly are meant to be, even if only for a few hours!

What a lovely experience! There was an option to book the VIP experience which was access to the upper deck that was a bit more exclusive and it was sooooo worth it. The view was to die for. Service was great. Food absolutely delicious. The orzo pasta was the star of the entire meal. It was so good I needed to see the chef & compliment him myself because that was fine dining quality food. He came to say hello & even gave me the recipe on camera which I will be reproducing when I get back home. So kind of him. I’m a cocktail kind of girl and I requested a whiskey sour (my fav) and the mixologist did not disappoint. I had me quite a few and made my heart extremely merry lol. I was a little scared about swimming at both islands cos it’s massive body of water but the crew made sure I had a life jacket and 2 pool noodles and two of the crew staff were right next to me making sure I was comfortable being in the water. That made me feel very safe and reduced my anxiety knowing they were so close by. They helped take a lot of my pictures too. I loved the chill luxe vibe of the boat. This is one of those tours you don’t mind doing again & again. I can’t recommend it enough. Book the tour.

We had a fantastic day out on the luxury catamaran. The VIP experience was nice to have a seat of our own with a great view while we were sailing. The food was good and Alfonso was awesome x
