This sunrise hike on Mount Batur was absolutely unforgettable and easily one of the best experiences I had in Bali. The adventure started early, but our amazing driver and guide made everything so smooth and enjoyable from the very beginning. He was punctual, friendly, and full of great energy—exactly what you need at 2 AM! The hike itself was challenging in a fun way, and our guide was incredibly supportive, always checking in and keeping the group motivated. Reaching the summit just in time for sunrise was surreal. Watching the sky light up in shades of gold, pink, and purple while looking out over the clouds and Lake Batur was a moment I’ll never forget. To top it all off, we had breakfast at the top—eggs cooked with volcanic steam! It was such a unique touch. We even stopped by a coffee plantation on the way back, which was a great bonus. Huge thanks to our guide for making this experience so special. If you're in Bali, don’t miss this hike—and make sure you go with someone as knowledgeable and kind as he was!
