Unfortunately, we had a problem during the experience. I want to report that in case of problems with the local tour provider, VIATOR does not intervene to guarantee the customer. The only form of contact is a toll number (which is absurd given the costs of the service). When I tried to report everything upon my return, VIATOR did not prove to be a guarantor at all, but simply a platform where you book local services. At this point, it is better to contact local providers directly, avoiding paying the fee to VIATOR. In our travels, I have used several intermediaries and none have proven to be so inadequate.

My girlfriend and I did a temple tour in Bali in June and had an amazing experience, thanks to our driver and guide, Wi. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us lots of fascinating insights into Balinese culture and the temples we visited. Wi is a very calm and skilled driver, which made the journey really comfortable and stress-free. His English was excellent, and he was easy to communicate with throughout the day. What really stood out was how helpful he was with photos — he always knew the best spots and encouraged us to capture the moment without ever rushing us. The whole experience felt very well-paced and personalised. We’d absolutely recommend Wi to anyone looking for a relaxed, informative and enjoyable tour of Bali’s temples. I strongly suggest doing this tour early in your trip as it gives you a great grounding in the Balinese culture and you get to understand the place a lot better.

We were with a large group and booked a temple tour. We were so fortunate to get Wi as our tour guide. He was genuinely the kindest person I have ever met, super knowledgeable, and fun to be around. He took phenomenal photos of our group both with his phone and ours. I would 100% recommend requesting Wi if you book this tour. It was a great tour but better because of him.

I had the most incredible experience visiting Bali’s temples, all thanks to our guide, Wi. From the moment we met, his gentle spirit and warmth made us feel at ease. He had a deep, genuine knowledge of the history and cultural significance of each temple we visited, and he shared it with such passion and clarity. Despite the limited time, Wi managed to teach us so much, weaving together fascinating stories and traditions. His calm demeanor and thoughtful approach made our tour feel personal and enriching. I truly felt connected to the culture and history of Bali, thanks to Wi. Highly recommend!

Wi was an amazing tour guide thru the temples! So much knowledge and took lots of pictures for us. He was flexible with our big group and even made time for us to check out a coffee spot.

Mr Wayan did a really good Job showing us 4 different temples and providing really good context. His Knowledge about hinduism is very big. But sometimes there was a little language barrier. The lunch (a buffet) was included and very delicious. We also did a Tee and coffee tour (included), but that wasn‘t really good because of the Guide (Not Wayan), who rushed through the garden without providing any information about the different plants. But this isn‘t Mr Wayans fault!

Mr Wayan Mawang was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was prompt, courteous, and shared so much information. It was a great experience!

The tour is incredible, we saw beautiful temples and crafts of local people. Our guide Mr Wayan was absolutely incredible, his knowledge and love of all the places we went to is simply the best, would 100% recommend him.

The tour is amazing and our guide Mr Wayan is the perfect man for the job, he was was superb throughout and is very knowledgeable about all the places he took us to.
