A great tour and tour guide for Ubud and surrounding areas
Surya was an OUTSTANDING tour guide and very focused on the customer experience. He communicated thoroughly before and during the four. He was punctual and left no doubt on whether or not he would complete the pick up and drop off at our hotel.
Throughout the tour, he consistently checked on our satisfaction with the tour. Our visit to Heavens Gate was orchestrated very well as he explained the waiting period and photographic procedures. When we stated that we wanted to deviate from a second day at a rice field and a swing park, he recommended that we visit a coffee and tea location. This recommendation proved to be a wonderful addition /substitution to the agenda.
Overall, my friends and I would have hired him for multiple days if we were not with a tour group and a set agenda. I highly recommend hiring him during your time in Bali.

Yande picked right On...
Yande picked right On time and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was also very flexible as our timeline shifted due to dinner and was able to take us to some stops that we had previously planned on going to it made the trip even more unique and special highly recommend anybody looking to do a day like this book with him.

Best experience ever!

Long Drive from Nusa Dua, But Amazing Driver!
Drive was a bit long for the car size/type from nusa dua area. Over 12 hours time invest. Line for the gate attraction is not worth the queue wait. Our wait was over an hour. Stand to the side take a pic and use Google Photo tools. Would probably stay closer to Ubud before taking this trip. Price overall too high. The driver was great.

This ended up being a...
This ended up being a private tour since I was traveling solo. It was nice because I had personalized attention and if I wanted more or less time at a certain spot that was easy to do. I did the 4am pick up which seemed so early, but was worth it for the gates of heaven. We still waited about 3hrs there for photos, but if we were later it would have been longer. Ardana was my driver and guide and he was very nice and took great pictures/videos. He explained the culture of the Balinese people to me, and was able to answer any questions I had. This was a great way to see a lot of the beautiful sites in Ubud as well as try some coffee and have fun on the swing!

Excellent Tour!
My solo tour was amazing! My driver Ekok was excellent. He arrived promptly to my hotel for my pickup time. He was knowledgeable and patient throughout my tour time with him. His meal suggestions were also excellent. I highly recommend this tour! I was a solo female traveler on this tour.

Phenomenal customer service!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Gate of Heaven and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my driver, Ma-de.
We started our journey at 3am and finished around 2pm and he was the absolute best driver and guide that I could have asked for. His knowledge of the landscape, culture, and tour operations was top notch. He was also extraordinarily patient, kind, and helpful.
I will be sure to book this service every time that I come to Bali and I will request Ma-de by name.

World Class
Everything was excellent. Our tour guide communicated with us and was on time. Marco went above and beyond my expectations. Very thoughtful and helpful throughout the tour. Knowing my keens were bothering me, he arranged for them to drive me to the top of the hill and bring me back without me even asking. He assisted in picture taking, explaining things and made sure that I didn’t fall into the water. Always being one step ahead of our needs, very proactive. Entertaining and energetic. We knew how traffic is and what crowds to expect, so we focused on tailoring to the tour to our needs. Amazing person, that made this trip fun and memorable.
