Entdecken Sie die kulturelle Seele Balis auf unserer beliebten Ubud Sightseeing-Reise, die Ihnen ein aufregendes und unvergessliches Urlaubserlebnis bietet. Ihre Reise beginnt mit einer bequemen Abholung von Ihrem Hotel / Villa, gefolgt von einem Besuch des Campuhan Ridge Walk, einem malerischen Pfad und einem absoluten Muss bei einem Besuch in Ubud. Als nächstes erkunden wir das Heilige Affenwald-Heiligtum, sehen Graumakaken in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum zwischen Tempeln und Dschungel. Danach geht es weiter zur berühmten Tegalalang Reisterrasse, wo wir die berühmten und wunderschönen Reisfelder erkunden. Ein köstliches Mittagessen wird in einem Restaurant in Ubud serviert. Anschließend setzen wir unsere Tour zum Tirta Empul Tempel fort, einem Weihwassertempel und lernen balinesische Reinigungsrituale kennen. Unsere Reise führt uns dann zum Goa Gajah Tempel, einer archäologischen Stätte von großer historischer Bedeutung. Unser letztes Ziel ist der herrliche Tegenungan Wasserfall, eine wunderschöne Oase zum Fotografieren, umgeben von üppigem tropischem Grün.

Versteckt hinter den Hotels der Hauptstraße von Ubud finden Sie den wunderschönen Campuhan Ridge Walk, ein absolutes Muss bei einem Besuch der Stadt Ubud. Der eher kurze, aber sehr lohnende Fußweg führt Sie entlang von Reisfeldern und Palmen einen Bergrücken hinauf und hinunter, ein perfekter Ort, um dem Trubel von Ubud zu entfliehen.
Der Affenwald von Ubud umfasst 27 üppige, grüne Hektar am unteren Ende des Jalan-Affenwaldes im Dorf Padangtegal. Es beherbergt über 400 Makaken (Macaca fascicularis), die in 4 Gruppen unterteilt sind, die verschiedene Bereiche des Parks besetzen. Es ist ein wichtiger kultureller und spiritueller Ort, an dem monatlich 10.000 Besucher teilnehmen. Das Monkey Forest Sanctuary befindet sich im Besitz des Dorfes Padangtegal und wird von diesem betrieben. Die Dorfmitglieder sind Mitglieder eines Regierungsrates, der die Integrität des Geländes aufrechterhalten und als touristisches Ziel fördern will.
Tegalalang Reisterrasse, die der Geschichte nach im 8. Jahrhundert von einem verehrten heiligen Mann namens Rsi Markandeya überliefert wurde. Tegalalang bildet die drei schönsten Terrassenlandschaften in der gemeinsamen Region Ubud, die anderen befinden sich in den Dörfern Pejeng und Campuhan. Allein die Reisterrasse von Tegalalang hat eine Aussicht, die sich vor Ihnen hinunter zu den Reisterrassen der Hänge im Tal erstreckt. Die Lage an der Straße ist kühl und luftig und es ist ein bekannter Ort für Touristen, um anzuhalten und Fotos zu machen.
Der Tirta-Empul-Tempel ist ein wunderschöner Tempelkomplex und eine heilige Bergquelle im Dorf Manukaya im Zentrum von Bali. Die Stätte dient als legendäre Kulisse einer traditionellen Geschichte über Gut gegen Böse und ist auch ein nationales Kulturerbe. Der 960 n. Chr. erbaute Komplex ist auch ein stiller Zeuge der alten balinesischen Königreichsjahre, insbesondere zur Zeit der Warmadewa-Dynastie.
Der Goa Gajah Tempel ist eine archäologische Stätte von bedeutendem historischem Wert, die ihn zu einem besonderen Ort für einen Besuch macht. Am kühlen westlichen Rand des Dorfes Bedulu, sechs Kilometer außerhalb des Zentrums von Ubud gelegen, brauchen Sie nicht mehr als eine Stunde, um zu seinem mit Relikten gefüllten Innenhof hinabzusteigen und die Felswandschnitzereien, eine zentrale Meditationshöhle, Badebecken und Brunnen zu sehen. Der Name des Tempels ist leicht irreführend und erweckt den Eindruck, dass es sich um eine gigantische Behausung voller Elefanten handelt.
Der Tegenungan-Wasserfall ist einer der beliebtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten Balis und die Schönheit des Wasserfalls wird nicht nur zu einer Attraktion für einheimische oder ausländische Touristen, auch Einheimische besuchen diesen Wasserfall oft. Es ist ein Teil des Petanu-Flusses, der entlang des Dorfes Kemenuh fließt, und erreicht eine Höhe von bis zu 20 m, sodass Sie die Geräuschvibration des fallenden Wassers spüren können.

Guide was basically a taxi driver. We learned very little from him. Traffic was terrible. Experience would have been very different with a qualified guide.

We had the pleasure of spending the day with Wayan Balik as our private driver. He spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. The guide was great, but some of the sights visited were not interesting (Temples) and the lunch menu not consistent or diverse.

This trip hit all the highlights. The waterfall and rice terraces were very Balinese though a bit commercialized. Hari, our driver, was a master at logistics. Our lunch stop near the terraces was one of the restaurants we ate at for ambiance. And he knew the best order of sights to minimize crowds.

Our new friend Ketut showed us around Ubud. We visited the Monkey Forest, Aloha Ubud swing, the teglagan rice terrace, dined at a beautiful restaurant, went to the temple in Ubud. All along the way, Ketut shared with us wonderful history of Bali, as well as his family. I highly recommend booking with Ketut and experience his knowledge of beautiful Bali.

All the sights and experiences were out of this world. Being our first time in Bali this has been such an amazing experience. Additionally our driver Ketut Putra was awesome. I'd recommend him to anyone who doesn't know anything about the island and needs help figuring out what you want to do on your vacation.
