We enjoyed the ghost tour, it was fun for the whole family. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept the experience fun. The guide spoke to us and asked questions to keep us engaged. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves history and enjoys a good ghost story.

I did the Baleful Brighton ghost walk on Thursday 20 August and Mariella was an excellent guide. We started at the Pavilion as a storm rolled in from the sea front which greatly assisted the atmosphere so unlike me, definitely pack an umbrella, coastal weather is unpredictable. XD We went from there to the Lanes and to finish, the beach. Even though I’m familiar with Brighton already I learned lots of spooky facts I never knew. It was great fun and although there was a bit of confusion about the meeting point, we got it sorted out in the end. The directions to the meeting point send you to where the Royal theatre is but the actual meeting point is written as at the George IV statue outside the north entrance to the pavilion gardens. That’s the one you want! I really enjoyed the tour and would be happy to do the other one, Barmy Brighton on my next holiday.

Brilliant - Michael is an engaging and natural guide who blended ghost stories with Brighton history to keep the kids and I thoroughly entertained. Hard to believe he has only been doing this for 2 months!

We could not find anyone to do our tour for the first ten fifteen minutes. The post code took us to just opposite the Theatre. This needs to be looked at as we nearly gave up, if the lady hadn’t called to ask where we were we would never have found her. Marilese I think her name was. She was very knowledgeable and made it fun too. The post code or starting point needs to be addressed!
