Von den farbenfrohen Candy Cane Mountains über tiefe Canyons bis hin zu weiten Bergblicken bietet jede Station eine unglaubliche Landschaft und tolle Fotomöglichkeiten. Sie reisen durch die wunderschöne Region Quba, vorbei an Wäldern, Flüssen und traditionellen Dörfern entlang der Route. Höhepunkt der Reise ist Khinaliq, eines der höchsten und ältesten Bergdörfer des Kaukasus, wo noch alte Traditionen bewahrt werden. Unterwegs erleben Sie auch lokales Leben, Natur und Kultur in einer sehr authentischen Umgebung. Es ist eine ideale Wahl für Reisende, die jenseits von Baku erkunden und die wahre Bergschönheit des Landes sehen möchten.

Die Tour beginnt gegen 08:00 Uhr. Einen Tag vor der Tour erhalten Sie den genauen Ort und die Startzeit.
Ihr erster Halt sind die berühmten Candy Cane Mountains (Bunte Hügel). Diese einzigartige Naturlandschaft ist bekannt für ihre auffälligen rot-weiß gestreiften Muster, die sie zu einem perfekten Ort für Fotos machen. Sie haben auch Zeit, den schönen Panoramablick zu genießen und die ruhige Umgebung zu genießen.
Unterwegs sehen Sie auch den Fünf-Finger-Berg (Beshbarmaq Mountain). Diese ikonische Sehenswürdigkeit kann von der Straße aus gesehen werden, wenn wir vorbeikommen, aber es wird keinen Halt an diesem Ort geben.
Anschließend fahren wir durch die Stadt Quba, eine der malerischsten Regionen Aserbaidschans. Quba ist bekannt für seine reiche Geschichte, Apfelplantagen und traditionelle Teppichweberei. Hier befindet sich auch die berühmte Rote Siedlung, eine der ältesten und größten jüdischen Gemeinden der Welt außerhalb Israels und der Vereinigten Staaten.
Als nächstes halten wir im Qechresh Forest. Dieses Gebiet ist bekannt für seine entspannende Atmosphäre, umgeben von üppigem Grün und frischer Bergluft. Hier finden Sie kleine Restaurants, Cafés, Souvenirläden und traditionelle Honighäuser, in denen Sie lokale Produkte probieren können. Nach diesem Stopp beginnen wir unsere Reise hinauf in die Berge, Richtung Khinaliq.
Der nächste Halt ist am Qudyalchay Canyon. Wir halten zwischen den Bergen, wo Sie atemberaubende Naturlandschaften genießen und schöne Fotos vom Tal und Fluss unten machen können.
Als nächstes halten wir an einem Panoramablickpunkt. Von hier aus genießen Sie einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf das Große Kaukasusgebirge mit endlosen Bergketten, die sich bis in den Horizont erstrecken.
Unser Ziel ist das Dorf Khinaliq, eines der ältesten und höchsten Bergdörfer im Kaukasus. Es ist berühmt für seine einzigartige Sprache, alte Geschichte und traditionelle Steinhäuser an steilen Berghängen gebaut. Hier haben Sie auch die Möglichkeit, das Mittagessen in einem lokalen Familienheimatmuseum zu genießen und authentische hausgemachte Küche und traditionelle Gastfreundschaft in einer wirklich einzigartigen Umgebung zu erleben.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Gesamtfahrzeit für diese Strecke in beiden Richtungen ca. 8 Stunden beträgt. Wir reisen mit mehreren Stopps entlang des Weges, und die volle Tourdauer beträgt insgesamt etwa 11–12 Stunden. Sie kehren gegen 20:00 Uhr nach Baku zurück.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Gruppentour um 08:00 Uhr beginnt. An Wochentagen holen wir die Gäste zwischen 07:00 und 08:00 Uhr ab, um starken Verkehr auf den Straßen zu vermeiden. Die genaue Startzeit der Tour wird von unserem Fortgeschrittener einen Tag vor der Tour mitgeteilt.

Leyla was a great tour guide, maybe the best in Azerbaijan. Lots of driving involved, but worth the trek.
The nature in the mountains was beautiful and the old village was interesting. The bus was old and uncomfortable, AC was hardly working. Leyla was a very nice guide, friendly and supportive, sharing a lot of information.

Regarding the air conditioning, it's important to note that the route climbs to more than 2,200 meters above sea level through steep mountain roads. During such ascents, the performance of any vehicle's air conditioning system is naturally reduced due to the increased engine load. This is a normal characteristic of mountain driving and not a technical issue. As for the vehicle, the tour is operated with a 2016 Toyota Hiace, which is a reliable minibus specifically chosen for mountain roads and remote destinations such as Khinalig. While comfort preferences may vary from person to person, describing the vehicle as "old" does not accurately reflect its condition or suitability for this route. We are pleased that you enjoyed the landscapes, the village, and the guidance provided during the tour.
A wonderful experience! Leyla was the best guide we could’ve asked for: energetic, caring, informative. You can tell she loves what she does. The driver was competent and fast. For me, the highlight of the trip was the homemade meal in the village. Even though it was cold, I’m happy I got to see some of Azerbaijan countryside.

This trip takes you to the popular sights around the Absheron peninsula, including the first oil well, a mosque, the mud pots, the Gobustan petroglyphs, the burning mountain, and the fire temple. The highlight is definitely the off-road trip in a Lada to the mud pots; even though my trip was in the rain, the guide wrapped our shoes in plastic bags and we slid up the mountain to see the bubbling mounds. My guide, Leyla, was friendly and lively and kept the tour moving along. Overall, a fun trip and great way to start my time in Azerbaijan.
