Bai Tu Long Bay Cruises Ruhiges und gemütliches Gruppenboot 2T1N

I booked this tour 3 days ago on 10/22 ahead of our planned 10/25 tour date. When we arrived at our pickup location at Hanoi Opera House on 10/25 and was checking in to see who and what would pick us up, there was no one to be found. I contacted the tour operator and on the Whatsapp phone call, he shared with me that he didn’t know that there was this booking and apparently he said that he doesn’t check Viator and that there were no accommodations planned for us because he didn’t check. That is unacceptable. How are you doing business if you don’t check all the leads from the platforms that you set your business up on? He offered to take us the following day, but we had already left our hotel accommodation at the Intercontinental, and did not plan to stay an extra night at a hotel when the plan was to be on this boat. Not to mention we would also pay for a night tomorrow where we won’t be at the hotel because we’re now on a boat 1 day late past the original plan. He offered $20 to make up for our hotel accommodation but $20 is not going to make up a 1 night stay at the Intercontinental for a 5 star hotel. Eventually we settled on a refund through Viator and I see that it’s now processing. That doesn’t change the fact that next 2 days plan is completely turned upside down, and that we wasted time going back & forth between the meet up point & the hotel for nothing. We still have to pay for an extra nights accommodation and keep our original hotel bookings for tomorrow which is added cost that was not anticipated for because of this tour operators poor business practice and inability to follow up on their commitments. I’d highly suggest anyone thinking about this boat tour to either book with another tour operator or at minimum if you really want to do this tour, contact them immediately post booking because they apparently don’t check for bookings here.

A perfect experience! The crew is attentive, and professional to the end. You will not want anything. The boat is nice, the beds are comfortable and the meals are delicious. In short I recommend without hesitation Amira Cruiser!

Family Mood, only 3 comfortable and well equipped cabins. Gourmet meals. Crew with little care. Various activities and visits. We have seen many small fishing boats and few cruise ships. All in fabulous landscapes.

The Halong Bay adventure with Amira Cruises has been fantastic. A boat with only 3 cabins, which gives the trip great intimacy. Hearty and tasty food. Henry, the guide, very funny. Everything perfect!

We had a great cruise with Amaria Cruises. The staff is lovely and welcoming. The cabins very nice and comfortable. There are only 3 which allows to enjoy an intimate moment. The route allows you to enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay without too many people. Activities like kayaking are pleasant. Finally, the meals are good and hearty. A real pleasure!

From a wide selection of cruises, we chose this one because there are only 3 cabins for a maximum of 8 people. Several advantages: the staff is very caring (special mention for Henri who is great and funny) , activities with fewer tourists , meals are very good and in large enough quantity (there were still some each time) , the cabins are very spacious! Despite the rain , the bay is beautiful don't be afraid if it's not the right season, it's worth it! 2 days at the top, I highly recommend! Cam on to all staff!

Very friendly Welcoming, Mr. Henry the very kind and attentive manager, top cook, excellent BBQ of fish and shellfish, and despite the rain that accompanied us, the cruise of 2 days 1 night was very pleasant. We recommend without reservation.
