My wife and I just completed a two-week private tour across Egypt to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, organized by Marghany Tourism under the supervision of Mohammad — and what an experience it has been. From the moment we landed in Cairo late at night to the moment we departed from Hurghada, we lived inside what I now call the “Mohammad Bubble.” Everything was smooth, comfortable, and incredibly well-coordinated. Airport pickup, immigration help, hotel check-ins, tickets, transportation, and even camel rides by the Pyramids — every detail was handled with care. Mohammad was available on WhatsApp literally 24/7. Before the trip, during the trip, and even on days when we didn’t have any activity planned, he checked in and responded faster than most AI chatbots (I joked about this with him several times). His professionalism, humor, and constant availability made the entire experience feel safe, relaxed, and enjoyable. ⭐ Our Cairo Guide We spent the first part of the trip with Mohammed Sabagh, our Cairo guide — and he set the bar incredibly high. Friendly, knowledgeable, witty, and an excellent photographer, he made the history, culture, and religion of Egypt come alive everywhere we went. Whether it was the Pyramids, GEM, Saqqara, Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo, or the Hanging Church — his guidance was a highlight of the trip. ⭐ Aswan Guide During the Nile Cruise portion, the company contracted another tourism company in Aswan, which is normal in Egypt. Our Aswan guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, patient, and very hospitable. He took great care of us at Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, the High Dam, and Abu Simbel. We truly enjoyed his company. ⚠️ Luxor Guide In Luxor, however, our guide experience was not as great. The guide seemed less engaged, rushed through explanations, and didn’t provide the same level of hospitality or detail we had become used to. Since the guides on the cruise are independent guides (and contracted locally in each city), this is something the main operator has only limited control over. That said, this was the only part of the trip that felt below expectations, and it did not overshadow the overall experience. 🌟 Overall Despite different local guides in different cities, the overarching coordination by Mohammad never wavered. Many other companies we saw on the cruise had a single guide throughout the entire Nile journey, and I do wish that had been the case for us. But even with that, the trip was exceptional from start to finish. From Cairo to the White Desert, from Fayoum dunes to Abu Simbel, from cruising the Nile to relaxing in Hurghada — everything was planned beautifully. This was a memorable and magical anniversary trip, made better by the constant care and prompt communication from Mohammad and his team. Would I recommend Marghany Tourism? Absolutely — without hesitation. If you want to visit Egypt without stress, confusion, or anxiety, let Mohammad create your bubble. You’ll enjoy Egypt the way it’s meant to be experienced
