9:00 Uhr — Abfahrt von Beirut Ihr Fahrer holt Sie von Ihrem Hotel in Beirut ab und begibt sich in den Norden in die libanesischen Berge – die Stadt verschwindet hinter Ihnen, während die Straße in Richtung Tannourine und dem ersten Naturwunder des Tages ansteigt.
Baatara Gorge — drei Brücken, ein Wasserfall, null Worte Nichts bereitet dich auf Baatara vor. Ein 255 Meter langer Wasserfall fällt durch drei aufeinanderfolgende natürliche Kalksteinbrücken – ein geologisches Phänomen, das nirgendwo sonst auf der Erde zu finden ist – und verschwindet in der Dunkelheit der Schlucht darunter. Gehen Sie hinunter zum Aussichtspunkt, spüren Sie den Spray, hören Sie das Gebrüll und versuchen Sie, ein Foto zu machen, das ihm gerecht wird. Du kannst es nicht – aber du wirst es trotzdem versuchen. Im Frühling, wenn die Schneeschmelze hart läuft, ist das Wasservolumen atemberaubend. Von der Schlucht aus geht es nach Aaqoura – einem hoch gelegenen Berggebiet, das die meisten Libanon-Besucher nie finden, was genau das ist, was es wert ist, dorthin zu gehen. Die Seen liegen auf über 1.500 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel, eingerahmt von zedernbewaldeten Bergrücken und Bergpanoramen, die sich über das nordlibanesische Hochland erstrecken. Rückkehr nach Beirut — ca. 17:00–18:00 Uhr Küstenfahrt zurück nach Beirut mit Rückfahrt zu Ihrem Hotel – ein Tag, der in acht Stunden von einem Dreibrücken-Wasserfall über Bergseen bis zu einer phönizischen Küste führte.

Overall, our party felt that it was only OK, for such a long drive. We have to say however that the Baatara Waterfalls were really worth it. You must take the time to go down next to the gorge into which the water falls to appreciate the beauty. As for the Akoura lake, we were not able to go very high because of snow on the road, therefore we probably missed out on the view of the many artificial lakes. The time spent in Batroun was mainly to have lunch. We went to the Phoenician wall and walked a few minutes. Our driver was very friendly. However, based on the tour description and inclusions listed, we were under the impression that a professional guide was included. The driver did not provide much information along the way, or while walking across a historical town such as Batroun. He mainly drove us to the locations.

I can highly recommend the experience and Alfred, our guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable. The view of the lakes was amazing from the mountain top. We could also see a herd of sheep being watered. We then went on to the waterfall, I recommend good shoes the stone can be slippery. Finally we went to Batroun. We had great lemonade, saw beautiful sights and learned about the history of the city and Lebanon.

Beautiful day trip to Tanourine and the amazing Belou3 bal3a. The ride to Akoura mountains was so refreshing and absolutely breathtaking. The scenery was out of this world.
