Wir erzählen Ihnen von unserer Safari Der "Thar" verschlingt in sich drei Hauptstädte von Rajasthan - Bikaner, Jaisalmer und Jodhpur (Osian). Um diese Städte findet man riesige und endlose Sanddünen. Thar ist eine Kultur, ein Leben für sich, ein Zuhause für viele Dramen, Tier- und Vogelarten. Sie werden sicherlich erstaunt sein, dieses andere Ökosystem zu sehen, in dem im Sommer harte Bedingungen herrschen, ohne Wasser, Blumen (eine Kaktusart) und Reptilien wüten aus der Erde. Die Abende sind viel kühler als Sie erwarten können und es ist noch schöner, abends in den Sanddünen zu sitzen, mit Lagerfeuer und Volksmusik, die mit unzähligen Sternen über uns schmollt. Inspiriert von der THAR, ist unsere Kamelsafari auch nach ihr benannt - THAR CAMEL SAFARI, weil sie Ihnen einen kompletten Geschmack der Region in Kombination mit den Traditionen und der Farbe der Erde bietet. Heil auf das Schiff der Wüste - CAMEL, ohne das kannst du das Leben in dieser Region der Welt nicht erwarten.

Namaskar! Unser Fahrer und Reiseleiter holt Sie in Ihrem Hotel ab und fährt Sie ins Dorf, wo wir unsere Tour beginnen. dann fahren wir etwa 70 km. und erreichen Sie ein kleines Dorf in der Wüste, besuchen Sie dann den örtlichen Hindu-Tempel und unternehmen Sie einen Kamelritt. Anschließend besuchen Sie eine örtliche Familie in der Wüste, essen mit der Wüstenfamilie und machen erneut einen Kamelritt, sehen einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang und fahren dann zurück zum Hotel

We did the camel tour on my birthday with the whole family, six of us. Chhotaram was very nice and speaks very good English, which he taught himself as an autodidact. He first showed us around the very impressive temple. Then we went through the picturesque and amazingly green desert. There were six camels waiting for us. I was a bit nervous about how easy it would be to ride the camels. My worries were unfounded, the saddles were very comfortable and safe, most of the camels were very tame and relaxed. It was beautiful to ride through the desert. There were also downhill and uphill sections, which was fun. We saw antelopes, peacocks and large lizards. There are apparently lots of snakes too, but we didn't see any. I felt like an adventurer from the 19th century. 😂 The food was delicious and the village was very well kept and it was interesting to see life in the countryside. The ride in the Jeep was an experience in itself (especially at night!), the back seat was relatively tight with six people. Overall a great experience!
Highly recommend! Especially if you can’t make it to Jaisalmer. Chhotoram’s service and company were excellent. He has a relaxed manor and is engaging to chat with on your drive to the desert (about an hour from Johdpur). The camel safari was a once in a lifetime experience. The camels and the guide were fabulous. It is something we will never forget. We visited a small village which was welcoming and so beautiful. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience.
Went with 3 friends and we all had a great time! Driver/guide was very knowledgeable about the area and personable.
My visit to Jodhpur was unplanned. I visited silawas and met Chottaram ji. He told about this Camel safari that they offer. We were 3 people and words cannot match the experience that we had. We had Camel ride of almost 1.5 hrs and home made food in some village khetasar where he took us by camels. It was unexpected and unmatched experience of Camel ride.

We loved our camel safari, the tour was well organised and communication was great. The journey to Osian is about 70-80 minutes from Jodhpur and even this was enjoyable as Chhotu was so friendly and informative on life in India and his village that this was just as fun as the camel safari. The camel ride in the desert was brilliant and we got some lovely chai and met the camel tour guides family in his home before travelling back with Chhotu to Jodhpur. Would 100% recommend.
