Wir beginnen am wohl bekanntesten und eindrucksvollsten Punkt des Sees, Bellagio, der Perle des Sees, und lassen seine Pastellfarben hinter uns. (Es stehen 6 weitere Treffpunkte zur Verfügung; der Reiseverlauf kann je nach gewähltem Treffpunkt variieren.)

Wir werden an den Dörfern Griante und Cadenabbia vorbeisegeln, die für ihre stattlichen Häuser im Jugendstil bekannt sind. Viele berühmte Persönlichkeiten wie Giuseppe Verdi und Stendhal haben hier übernachtet.
Wir machen uns auf den Weg nach Varenna, dem Dorf der Liebenden. Wundervolles Dorf, eingebettet in den See.
Anschließend besichtigen wir die Villa Monastero, einen eindrucksvollen Architekturkomplex aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, der einst ein Kloster für Zisterzienserinnen war. Heute ist es eine der Haupttouristenattraktionen mit seinem Hausmuseum und dem Botanischen Garten, der viele Pflanzenarten beherbergt. Heaven's Gate: Berühmt für seine spektakulären, terrassenförmig angelegten botanischen Gärten, beherbergt es das ikonische „Himmelstor“, ein monumentales Tor, das den See auf göttliche Weise einrahmt.
Wir segeln entlang der Ostküste und bewundern die Villa Orlando, die Villa La Placida und die Villa Trivulzio, prächtige historische Residenzen, die von Grün umgeben sind, sowie die berühmten Gärten der Villa Melzi, die den Eingang zu Bellagio rahmen.

We had an incredible private boat tour on Lake Como and couldn’t recommend it more. They were warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Having grown up in the area, they shared fascinating local history, insider tips, and recommendations for the best restaurants, hidden gems, and must-see spots around the lake. They made the experience feel personal and authentic rather than just another sightseeing trip. We learned so much and saw beautiful places we never would have found on our own. Pietro and Federica were amazing tour guides. It was the perfect combination of educational and fun! We got to enjoy all of the history, go swimming in the lake, and even explore a village. Booked a private boat tour with Como Floaty Tours during our first full day on Lake Como, and it turned out to be the perfect way to start the trip. We’d flown in the day before, so getting out on the water early gave us a real feel for the lake and helped us figure out what we wanted to come back and do over the rest of our stay. We went with a morning slot, which I’d recommend. The water was calm and glassy before it got choppy later in the day. The couple running the tour were warm and easy to be around. They knew the lake inside out and shared a ton of history along the way, walking us through each village and pointing out what was worth seeing in each one. They also showed us their favorite villas and pointed out the famous houses around the shoreline, which was a lot of fun. What stood out most was how relaxed and flexible the whole thing felt. If we wanted to linger somewhere, we could, and if we wanted to keep moving, they were happy to. It was genuinely about us. On top of that, they gave us great recommendations for places to grab a drink that we used later in the week. A really fun morning and a great introduction to Como. Highly recommend.

My husband and I visited Lake Como with our friends during our trip to Italy and spent some time researching different boat tour companies before booking. We are so glad we chose this one! Not only was it the best value we found, but it ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the trip. From the moment we stepped aboard, our hosts made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of. They were very kind and very knowledgeable of the area. As we cruised around the lake, they shared stories about the history of Lake Como, the surrounding towns, and the local culture.
