Die Auckland Harbour Bridge wacht über den Waitemata Harbour und ist ein entscheidendes Element der Infrastruktur. Die Harbour Bridge ist die einzige Brücke, die die Metropole des zentralen Geschäftsviertels mit der North Shore und darüber hinaus mit Northland verbindet.
Die Lage von Maungauika am Eingang zum Waitematā Hafen machte es zu einer wichtigen Küstenverteidigung. Es war die Furcht vor einer russischen Invasion in den 1880er Jahren, die zum Bau eines Forts und der drei verschwindenden Geschützbatterien entlang der Maunga (Berg) führte. Norht Head Historic Reserve kann am Nachmittag in Kauri Tree Forrest geändert werden.
Mount Eden ist der höchste Vulkan unter den 52 Vulkanen Aucklands. Es ist 196 m hoch. Vom Gipfel aus können Sie einen spektakulären Blick auf die Stadt und ihre Häfen genießen.
Einer der Schätze Aucklands, die Auckland Domain Wintergardens, wurden 1913 eröffnet und haben seitdem die Herzen vieler erobert. Dieser Garten verfügt über eine große Chrysanthemensammlung und zeigt seltene und exquisite Pflanzen.
Die Holy Trinity Cathedral ist das weltweit einzige architektonische Beispiel einer pazifisch-gotischen Kathedrale. Sie spüren gleichzeitig ein Gefühl von Erhabenheit und Schönheit. Sie können auch die St. Mary Church besichtigen, die fast ausschließlich aus Heart Kauri, einem in Neuseeland heimischen Holz, gebaut ist und eine der wenigen Holzkirchen der Welt ist, die im gotischen Stil erbaut wurden. Auf der Nachmittagstour gehen wir aufgrund der Schließzeit zum Wintergarten statt zur Dreifaltigkeitskathedrale

We have a fantastic Auckland half day tour with our Tour Guide, Sean Kim. I think we had managed to see the most important highlight of Auckland City. Obviously, Sean is very knowledgeable of the history and culture of New Zealand especially Māori peoples. He is very caring and communicate very well in English too. He also assisted us with a lot of information of few good areas to visit in Rotorua and also some good restaurants recommendation. A highly recommended Tour Guide. Thanks, Wong

Our afternoon flew by as our guide Sean drove us on a 360-degree tour of Auckland. He delivered stunning scenery - whether the Wintergardens, Cathedral or Mount Eden -and an impressive amount of knowledge about each sight and its history. Sean was the tour guide. He was awesome communicated in advance to ensure i knew where the pick up would be. Have great detail and history as we went to each location. Knew where the best photo spots/ angles were and offered to take pics (solo traveler)when needed. Overall good experience, great tour guide.

An enjoyable few hours spent discovering some important parts of Auckland. Sean was a personable guide and well informed on historical and cultural matters. There were 3 other couples and the vehicle was comfortable.

This tour was taken on our last day in Auckland. It started out as a windy rainy day. Thank goodness, the rain stopped but the wind and clouds remained. Regardless of the weather, Sean, our tour guide, was undeterred and gave a great tour. Tour. This is a great way to see other parts of the city and get some great history. This tour takes you outside of the central business district. We loved the different sites and the knowledge that Sean imparted to all of us. If anything, I think my wife and I should have done this trip on the first day we got to Auckland to give us an idea of other places to see for the rest of the time we were here. I would suggest that for people coming to Auckland. It was informative and educational and we enjoyed it. Thanks again to Sean for doing such a great job.
