Praia da Ursa | Sintra: Wanderweg zu einem der schönsten Strände Portugals
Das Heiligtum Unserer Lieben Frau von Cape Espichel, das sich am westlichsten Punkt der Küste von Sesimbra befindet, ist ein einzigartiges ziviles und religiöses architektonisches Ensemble, das die Monumentalität des Gebäudes mit der Immaterialität religiöser Hingabe verbindet. Es besteht aus der Kirche, den Gästehäusern, der Gedächtniskapelle, dem verfallenen Opernhaus, den Pilgergärten, dem Wasserhaus und dem Aquädukt. Die landschaftliche Kulisse dieses Denkmals auf einem Plateau, das in Steilhängen zum Meer endet, macht es monumental.
Praia do Ribeiro do Cavalo ist einer der schönsten Strände Portugals und liegt etwas mehr als 40 km von Lissabon entfernt, am Rande der schönen Stadt Sesimbra, inmitten des Naturparks Arrábida. Für diejenigen, die die Natur in ihrer reinsten Form mögen, ist Ribeiro do Cavalo eine ausgezeichnete Alternative zu den kommerzielleren Stränden von Lissabon und Setúbal.
Nördlich des imposanten Vorgebirges von Nazaré, besser bekannt als „Sítio“, liegt Praia do Norte ohne Überwachung und hat eine raue und etwas wilde Umgebung mit Dünen, die die ursprüngliche Vegetation bewahren. Das Meer, rau und gefährlich zum Schwimmen oder Baden, wird von Surfern sehr geschätzt, die hier spektakuläre Wellen finden.

Susana, our private tour guide, was amazing, super friendly and really knowledgeable to the places we visited. She made sure we were comfortable, brought us to the 3 beautiful beaches in the South of Portugal (Praia do Portinho da Arrabida, Praia do Creiro, and Figueirinha Beach), and even setting up a table for a lunch picnic in one of the picnic spots. She really went above and beyond to show us the best spots and made sure we had a great time!

We had a fantastic time with our tour guide Susana on this amazing tour. We visited several beaches, made several stops along the way to walk around the towns and learn about the history of Portugal during our drive. It was an amazing experience and would definitely book with Swingo again. Susana was professional, she never rushed us at any point during the tour, and she even provided us with some snacks. I would rate the entire experience and service a 10 out of 10. Will remember this trip/tour for a long long time.

We had a wonderful tour guide that told us a lot about towns outside of Lisbon. She was right, the beach was beautiful and it was not too crowded. This was a wonderful experience and a great way to end our vacation.

Our tour guide was very friendly and tried her best, so I don't want to leave her a poor review, however, for how much we paid the tour was pretty underwhelming. We drove to Sesimbra and the guide had not been there in years she said, so I don't think she remembered how to get to the secret beach. Instead, we went on a random overlook trail and she set up the picnic there (right in the middle of the trail where people were walking). And then the other two stops were Cabo do Roca and the Jesus Christ Sanctuary which were cool but not beach stops like we were expecting. Overall it was an okay tour, but not worth the price. I wish we had just rented a car and driven ourselves.

This trip was my favorite part of visiting Portugal! We were the only two people on our tour. We got picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Our tour guide Susana shared with us a lot of history and interesting facts about the culture of Portugal. We got to pick somethings to do including seeing a local market in Setubal, the incredibly beautiful beach of Arrabida, a local winery tour and tasting, and a tour of a small tile factory! Susana provided us with a picnic lunch and blanket for our time at the beach. The lunch included wine, deserts, pastries and fresh fruit. So much delicious food! We had the beach almost to ourselves as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Portugal. There is the option to share your own interests for what beaches/places you would like to see to customize your own experience!

The whole day trip to the beaches around Lisbon was tailored to our own schedule and our guide, Sergio, was very knowledgeable, nice and offered a great experience overall. On the way to the beaches we passed many interesting historical buildings/sites and he offered explanations about each location so we can get a better image of Portugal. He made sure that we visited the locations on our bucket list. I certainly recommend this trip to anyone interested in the most famous beaches around Lisbon!

The tour with Jose was absolutely amazing. We were able to see the beautiful views, visit the beaches and swim at one. The picnic was delicious, the ride was smooth, and even visited the town of Sesimbra. Thank you for the beautiful day!!
