Moray mit seinen kreisförmigen Terrassen, die wie riesige Amphitheater zur Erde hin abfallen, birgt die Geheimnisse eines alten landwirtschaftlichen Labors. Jede Ebene war ein lebendiges Experiment, bei dem die alten Inkas Pflanzen domestizierten und sie von den eisigen Höhen in die warmen Täler und umgekehrt adaptierten, als ob sie mit dem Klima selbst spielten. 1985 stellten Forscher auf jeder Terrasse Thermometer auf, um ein stilles Spektakel zu erleben: Jede Ebene hatte ihr eigenes Mikroklima, ihre eigene Temperatur, ihr eigenes Leben.
Mit über 7.200 Salzbecken, die wie Schnee im Sonnenlicht schimmern, sind die Salzbergwerke Maras für ihre bemerkenswerten medizinischen Eigenschaften bekannt. Dieser peruanische Schatz ist nicht nur eine unschätzbare Ressource für das Land, sondern auch ein begehrtes Gut auf den internationalen Märkten. In der Nähe des majestätischen Heiligen Tals der Inkas gelegen, bieten diese Salzminen ein wirklich einzigartiges Schauspiel. Derzeit ist der Zugang mit ATV verboten, so dass wir mit unserem Transport für 10 Minuten gereist sind, um diese faszinierende Stätte zu bewundern, bevor wir nach Cusco zurückkehrten.
Am Ende unserer Tour besuchen wir den lebendigen lokalen Markt von Chinchero. Today we have a great time on our first day in Cusco, because of this excellent trip. Amazing tour guide, nice ATV coach. We enjoy the time in riding ATV to Moray, fantastic scenery. It’s a nice way to enjoy the valley. After ATV, we went to Salineras to view the fantastic salt land, and the guide provides us lots of information. I will highly recommend this to others.
We had a great time with Cuatrimotos Cusco. It ended up just being my friend and I in our group and the tour guide was good. Here are the reasons I took off stars: 1. I felt slightly mislead. We want to Salineras first but we had to get there by car, not on ATV. Based on the description, it sounded like we were getting on ATV's first and seeing everything from there but that was not the case. We went to Salineras by car, which was fine, but I think they should say that in the itinerary. The rest of the day was beautiful and very fun riding the ATV's. 2. Our time at Moray was also pretty limited. We had to pay over 100 soles for the entrance ticket but could only stay for 20 min. I would recommend this trip but we had a ton of fun, but just wish they were more clear in the itinerary because it was different than my expectations.

I recently went on a trip to Peru with my boyfriend and 2 friends. After a lot of research, we found Cuatrimotos and we could not have been happier with the experience. The tickets were very reasonably priced (even though they do not include admission at some sites, it was very easy to purchase those once we got there). Our driver, Mario was very punctual and stopped to buy us water bottles. We went on the ATV tour to Moray and Saltmines with our tour guide Omar who was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We felt very safe throughout the whole day. Thank you!
