ATV Tamarindo nach Pirates Bay

Gustavo was our guide and he was amazing! We did the 3-hour ATV tour and our guide was a pro, we felt super safe navigating the main roadways and off road trails. He was very communicative on when to shift gears, very beginner friendly! He took us to amazing beaches and took pictures/videos for us and gave us time to go into the water. He was super friendly and we had a great time! Would definitely recommend Gustavo for your tours.

Booked in advance and when we arrived was told we needed to take a ride test first. The test was someone sitting behind you throwing hand signals you could not see on when to switch gears because they are manual ATVs. Told us both we failed and needed to pay more to drive the other vehicles. Refused and just wanted money back but they said no refunds. Finally they relented and let us ride test again and passed to then be taken on a tour where the tour "guide" spent the trip making donkey sounds to harass women we passed and being forced to buy a drink at the beach or we wouldn't leave. Bottom line go elsewhere or at least don't book in advance unless you are sure you can handle a manual ATV.

Andy Rueda Newmark is amazing super friendly explained things along the way made sure we were ok and comfortable along the way took us to an amazing spot we would have never found on our own and even stopped so we could see some animals along the route would definitely recommend the tour with Andy as your guide.

What an amazing fun excursion!! We did this for our 8 year anniversary! Andy was so fun. We would not have seen the parts of Costa Rica that we did if not for this UTV excursion! Andy did a great job with our photo shoot! This is definitely recommended for anyone wanting to have an amazing experience! PURA VIDA!!!

This business review recounts our recent experience on a familiar trip we've taken in previous years. However, this time, the journey had a rocky start. We had pre-scheduled and placed a deposit the day before the trip, but upon attempting to pay using CRC on the day of the trip, we encountered complications. The owner insisted on USD or a less favorable conversion rate. After a prolonged discussion, we acquiesced to the owner's requested rate. Once we departed from the ATV location, the initial segments of our trip to the first and second beaches proceeded without any issues. However, we noticed deviations from our past experiences. During previous trips, our guide would take group photos at each stop and allowed more time at each beach. On this occasion, at the second beach, he requested that we drive a bit faster on the return journey, leaving us perplexed. As we navigated through the jungle and a small town, our guide unexpectedly halted our group to pick up a woman and a small child. They joined him on his quad for a brief journey of about a mile before being dropped off. We resumed our journey back to Tamarindo, making an additional stop at a business. The guide didn't acquire anything visibly, leading us to speculate that he may have settled a bill. Eventually, we concluded our trip and returned to the shop, noting the differences in this experience compared to our previous outings. We wont use Action ATV again on our trips. We paid $90 USD PP for the 3 hour tour.

The tour was great overall. The staff are really cool and take you to two different beaches. There are different food stands at each beach. The food and fresh smoothies I ordered were delicious. I'd recommend everyone use this company because they'll also provide free pictures they've taken of you throughout the ride.

Yader was fantastic ! The tour was so Much fun ! There were 6 adults - The guys went on the ATVs and the girls went in one UTV . So happy we did this . We felt very safe , and enjoyed all the great spots Yader took us . He was constantly checking on us that everyone was okay and keeping up . He took amazing pictures of us and we never felt rushed but instead had the chance to really enjoy each spot we stopped at . If you get Yader as your tour guide rest assured he won’t be reckless or careless but will take your safety into great consideration while showing you some beautiful parts of Costa Rica !

The 4 hour tour to 3 different beaches was great and was a lot of fun👍🏻 The guides Ronny, Yader and Dylon showed us fun trails off roads. Since it had rained the night before, we had to or were allowed to cross many mud and water passages. Highlights were the 3 beautiful beaches we visited. This activity is definitely worth it

Great ATV journey and our guide - she was fabulous! Had so much fun cruising the dirt roads and ending up at a beautiful beach with a cold one!
