ATV- oder Buggy-Führung ab Tamarindo, Conchal

I booked this activity for our family of 7 through Expedia. I specifically bought the package with round trip transportation. Shortly after booking, I received an email asking what hotel we were staying at to arrange for transportation. I provided the necessary information. Two days before the activity, I received an email stating that they need to confirm we want transportation and if so it was normally $50 per person but they will do it for $25. I sent them my Expedia confirmation showing I had purchased the transportation from Riu. They didn’t respond, I messaged them on WhatsApp no response. I called and a very rude man told me I didn’t buy transportation and I needed to listen to what he was saying. He began to tell me how overbooked and busy they were. Due to the rudeness and lack of common ground, I called Expedia and they canceled and refunded my tour. This felt like a total scam and I would strongly urge against booking this company.

If you are looking for a super fun activity to do in the Tamarindo area of Costa Rica, you should definitely check out this ATV adventure. I recommend you bring a bandana, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Our family of five (two grandparents, two adults, and our young child) had an amazing ATV and buggy tour with 506 Tours! My ATV experience in Costa Rica was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of my trip! If you’re planning to do this adventure, there are a few things you should know: do not wear your good shoes — you will get muddy! The mud, rocky roads, and off-road trails are all part of what makes the experience so much fun, so come prepared to get a little dirty. The adventure takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes Costa Rica has to offer, including breathtaking beaches and scenic trails. Along the way, we even spotted wildlife, including monkeys, which made the experience even more memorable. You’ll ride through a mix of terrain — from rocky paths to muddy roads — making it exciting the entire way. The instructors were outstanding! They were professional, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident before heading out. They took the time to match each person with a vehicle that was easy to handle and suited their comfort level. Throughout the ride, they were attentive, making sure everyone was safe, aware of the conditions, and having a great time. This was more than just an ATV ride — it was an adventure that allowed us to experience the beauty and nature of Costa Rica up close. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, this is absolutely a must-do activity. Come ready for fun, mud, amazing views, and an unforgettable experience!

Everyone at the 506 was very hospitable and extremely courteous. Our guide, Juan was a great guide, took his time showing us around, explaining all the different location, beaches, pointing out the howler monkeys. This was a terrific spot to see this part of the area where we were staying. I highly recommend 506. They’re a great company.

We had an amazing ATV adventure in Costa Rica! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the experience. The ride was the perfect length—long enough to enjoy the adventure without feeling rushed or exhausted. The scenery along the route was beautiful, with stunning views that showcased the natural beauty of Costa Rica. One of the highlights was stopping at a wonderful local bar, which was the perfect place to relax and take in the atmosphere. Overall, it was a fun, well-organized excursion that we would highly recommend!

The tour was very easy to book and communication was great! Unfortunately WE were running late because we were driving by motorcycle, and our navigation took us to the wrong place. Even though they didn’t have to accommodate us, they did, and they made us feel relaxed. Our guide, Hilmar, is very good at judging his riders’ experience level and tolerance of challenge. The path to and from the beach was a high moderate skill level; my husband and I are very proficient with ATVs and dirt bikes, but a couple of ride participants were not—Hilmar made sure that they enjoyed the trip as much as we did! GREAT views, GREAT wildlife, grabbed some lunch and drinks; husband agrees that it is the best ATV excursion we have ever taken!

This was very exhilarating for the entire family (and was able to see monkeys while riding, which was a plus). Our tour guide Gustavo amazing and fun - would recommend riding with him! We stopped at 2 beaches for q quick dip. Make sure to bring extra clothes because you are certain to get dirty.

Our group loved this tour! Monkeys, mountains, small towns, mud, and hills and speed, and a private beach with yummy pina coladas! Our guides were fantastic! Highly recommend!!

The tour was great. Trails were fun and easy to manage. Jason was our guide, he was great and very friendly. He took us to 2 beautiful beach on the tour, both of which had little surf shacks were you could get snacks, water, and cold drinks.
