Dies ist eine kulinarische Tour, bei der wir durch einige nicht touristische Teile Athens schlendern und die reiche kulinarische Geschichte erkunden, die unsere Kultur und Traditionen beeinflusst hat. Unsere Reise beginnt an der U-Bahn-Station Panepistimio, dem Korai-Platz, wo wir auf einen traditionellen Kiosk für Koulouri treffen, der als der Grieche gilt, der frühstückt. An jedem Stopp werde ich die Hintergrundgeschichte des Produkts oder der Mahlzeit erzählen und seine bedeutende Rolle in unserer Küche im Laufe der Geschichte hervorheben. Unterwegs erwarten Sie interessante und amüsante Anekdoten, die das Erlebnis zusätzlich ergänzen. Einer der Höhepunkte der Tour ist der Besuch der ersten Konditorei der Stadt, die nach der griechischen Unabhängigkeit gegründet wurde. Hier werden wir das Vergnügen haben, die traditionellen griechischen Donuts zu probieren.

She was genuinely amazing. So kind, so cool, so smart, so beautiful, took us to some of the coolest spots and hidden gems I’ve seen on the trip. A tour that was fun without being exhausting in the heat. It is her passion and she’s so good at it. Highly recommend!
Our family had a wonderful time on this tour - kids (14 and 18) say it was a highlight of the entire trip! Anna and George were wonderful hosts and tour guides, weaving together history of cuisine with history of the country. We tasted meats, seafood, olives, honey, doughnuts, pies and tea - a very tasty, educational and all around wonderful experience. To our delight, our family of 4 was joined for the tour by two locals living in Athens. Communication from the hosts was excellent. Really, can't say enough good things about this tour - 10/10 recommend!!
Anna was such a lovely host to my family on our street food tour. She gave some history of Athens, as well as taking us to many local eats that her and her family have eaten for many years. The food we ate while in the tour was delicious! We had a great variety of sweet and savory foods. We visited a spice shop, the Municipal Market, Olive tasting, and many restaurants. This tour was full of hidden gems we would have never visited on our own! She also gave us great recommendations of places to try on our own time.
I brought my 18-year old daughter and her friend on this amazing experience. I cannot recommend it enough. Our co-guides were so kind and also wonderfully informative.
