Athen hat heute einen herausragenden Platz unter den bekanntesten für seine Street Art-Städte. Genießen Sie einen 4-stündigen privaten Spaziergang durch Athen und lernen Sie die Street Art-Szene kennen, bewundern und fotografieren, die von berühmten Straßenkünstlern wie WD, iNO und Moralez geprägt wurde. Stöbern Sie in einigen der bekanntesten Stadtteile Athens wie Psyrri und Exarchia und entdecken Sie ihren einzigartigen Charakter anhand der Wandgemälde, Schablonen und Graffitäten, die sie schmücken.

Nach einem Treffen mit einem Mitglied des Be a Greek-Teams vor dem U-Bahnhof Panepistimio genießen Sie einen 4-stündigen Rundgang durch die alternativsten und authentischsten Viertel Athens, bei dem Sie die Gelegenheit haben, die athenische Straßenkunst kennenzulernen Szene.
Wir beginnen in Exarchia, einem bekannten Viertel für seine künstlerische und studentische Ausstrahlung. Exklusive Straßenkünstler wie WD, STMTS, Sonke und iNO haben der Stadtlandschaft einen besonderen Touch verliehen, dieses Viertel hervorgehoben und auf der ganzen Welt berühmt gemacht. In Exarchia haben wir auch die Möglichkeit, uns zu entspannen, während wir unseren Kaffee in einem lokalen Café genießen, das mit einzigartigen anamorphotischen Graffiti dekoriert ist.
Weiter werden wir uns in Psyrri befinden und sowohl seinen touristischen als auch seinen alternativen Charakter entdecken, während wir einige der berühmtesten und schönsten Kunstwerke wie den berühmten Hund Loukanikos (Wurst auf Griechisch) bewundern, die die gesellschaftspolitische Situation von Psyrri bezeugen unser Land. In diesem Teil des Spaziergangs haben wir die Möglichkeit, unter anderem über den erstaunlichen Künstler Achilles zu sprechen und einige seiner einzigartigen Werke kennenzulernen.
Wenn wir Psyrri hinter uns lassen, passieren wir die Fußgängerzone von Kerameikos und bewundern den Kontrast zwischen den alten Exponaten von Kerameikos und den zeitgenössischen Kunstwerken der Region. Nach wenigen Minuten erreichen wir einen der Höhepunkte unserer Tour, die riesigen DaVinci-Wandbilder, die von iNO geschaffen wurden und zweifellos ein exquisites Beispiel für die athenische Straßenkunst sind. Am U-Bahnhof Kerameikos angekommen, endet unsere Tour nach einem Tag voller Bilder und einer erstaunlichen Erfahrung.

Bianca is top notch! Professional, knowledgeable, knows her way around the various neighborhoods, spoke about art, culture, philosophy, mythology, religion; she is a walking encyclopedia. Details , insight, depth, for those seeking to truly Be a Greek. I am Greek and I learned more about my city historically and in present times than I could have known if I had read one hundred books. Within the “art walk” she gives you the meat of what it means to be an Athenian, both in past history and recent history. We will never forget her knowledge and passion for her work, and we will definitely keep in touch so that we can utilize her services again. Bianca is worth five times her weight in gold! Bianca gave an amazing tour of Athens and its vibrant street art. We saw some very interesting and evocative art produced by a collection of passionate artists. The tour was enhanced by Bianca’s knowledge of how local social and political issues drove much of the art. She was also friendly, upbeat and spoke fluent English.

It felt like we got a behind the scene tour of Athens! Without this tour we feel that we would have left Athens not truly understating the full and true landscape and culture of Athens. It would be near impossible to truly understand and appreciate the amazing street art of Athens without the spectacular storytelling from Bianca. This tour was the icing on the cake of our trip to Athens. It’s a must do!
Bianca from "Be a Greek" is truly the best guide you can imagine for the graffitti / street art tour. She is really passionate about the subject and can teach you all about the artists and artworks. In addition, she was very good at telling about the recent history of Athens and relating events related to the districts of Exarchia and Psyrri. The tour is 150% recommended and I would book another tour with Bianca at any time.
I was looking to see some special after visiting the classic Athenian sites. This walking tour was outstanding. As a photographer, I knew this tour would give me great opportunities but it was much more than that. Bianca was my guide and was exceptionally well versed in this subject. She had a deep understanding of who the artists are and what the artists are trying to convey. Bianca made this tour very special for me. If you want to see another side of Athens, I would encourage you to take this tour.

My husband and I had a most interesting day walking and talking w/ our guide Antonis. We saw fabulous examples of the artists making mostly social commentary on what is happening in Greece today. We had discussions of what life is like in Greece and what are the social issues facing the Greeks. We enjoyed learning about the current day society and how history is still influencing it. If you want to know about Greece today go to where the people live and express themselves. A very well spent day!
