Our family had an incredible experience on the Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis, and a huge part of that was our amazing guide, Kostas Poulopoulos. We purposely booked this tour for our first full day in Athens, and it was one of the best decisions we made. It was the perfect way to get the lay of the land, see where many of the major landmarks were located, and gain a better understanding of the city before diving into the rest of our sightseeing. We also chose the 5:00 p.m. tour to avoid the heavy cruise ship crowds that typically begin arriving around 9:00 a.m., and it turned out to be another great decision. The city was less crowded, and the cooler evening temperatures made the ride even more enjoyable. Kostas was one of the most genuine, friendly, and engaging guides we've ever had. He made everyone feel welcome, including our kids, and kept the tour fun and interesting from start to finish. He shared history about Athens while making plenty of stops for photos at some of the city's most iconic landmarks. The pace was easy and relaxed, making it enjoyable for all ages and fitness levels. What really made Kostas stand out was how much he cared about making our entire trip memorable—not just the bike tour. He gave us fantastic recommendations for the rest of our stay in Athens and even followed up with suggestions via email, for our next destination, Naxos. That personal touch meant so much to our family. We truly can't say enough great things about Kostas. If you have the chance to take this tour with him, do it! It was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece, and we would recommend Athens by Bike to anyone looking for a fun, informative, and unforgettable way to explore the city.

This experience was AMAZING! Our group of six (ages between 22 and 60) had a wonderful time with Stephanie! The e-bike tour was so much fun and we saw so much of Athens that we would have otherwise missed. We then had our tour of the Acropolis with Demos who was equally engaging. The hike up the mountain is not easy, but Demos did a wonderful job of moving us up the hill with short walks and stops under shaded areas where we learned all about the rich history of Athens and the Acropolis! Both experiences are AMAZING!

We had such a fun time today exploring Athens on our e-bike bikes. Our tour guide Kostas was simply amazing-so warm and friendly, knowledgeable, and really funny! He gave us the royal tour complete with the best spots to take photos that he’s researched over the last 16 years and even followed up with recommendations of other places to visit-restaurants and fun things to do in Athens.
