Ihre Gruppe mit mindestens 2 Personen kann sich am frühen Morgen von Ihrer Unterkunft abholen und bis ca. 10:00 Uhr vor den Toren des Arusha-Nationalparks aufhalten. Die Fahrt zum Park ist kurz; Kaffeeplantagen und kleine Städte mit viel Alltagsleben sorgen für die Unterhaltung der 50 Minuten, bis Sie auf eine Schotterstraße abbiegen und zum Parkgate aufsteigen. Hier schließt sich ein bewaffneter Ranger an, bevor Sie Ihre morgendliche Wandersafari in den Schatten des Mt. Meru durch die offene Ebene unternehmen. Wenn Sie die Aufstiegsroute des Mt Meru hinauffahren, haben Sie einen interessanten Blick auf die Tierwelt mit großartigen Panoramen des Parks. Wenn Sie wieder unten am Gate sind, fahren Sie die kurze Strecke zu den Momella Lakes für ein Picknick-Mittagessen (Aufpreis von USD 10). Hier können Sie eine Kanu-Safari (optional) am See genießen oder am Nachmittag Pirschfahrten durch den Park in entspanntem Tempo unternehmen. Am späten Nachmittag verlassen Sie den Park, um zu Ihrer Unterkunft zurückzukehren.
Mount Meru ist ein ruhender Stratovulkan, der 70 Kilometer westlich des Kilimandscharo in Tansania liegt. Mit einer Höhe von 4.562,13 Metern ist er an einem klaren Tag vom Kilimandscharo aus sichtbar und der fünfthöchste Berg Afrikas, abhängig von der Definition.

This was our first of 6 safari locations spanning Arusha National Park, Tarangarire, Ngorngoro Crater, and Central Serengeti. A great introduction to Tanzania's warm culture and the beautiful animals. Our guide Julius was informative, interesting, fun, and made us feel safe the entire day. Although a little further away than we saw at the other parks, we did see giraffes, colobus monkeys, zebras, Cape Buffalo, and a hippo! Baboons were also plentiful and entertaining. Lunch overlooking the lake was very good and water through the day was plentiful.

<p>Took the tour the last day of my 1 week trip, flying out at 8:50pm, tour lasted 7:30am - 5pm, paid the tour company to drop me off at The airport at the end of the tour. Worked out perfectly. </p> <p>After a six day safari visiting Serengeti, ngorongoro, tarengeri and lake manyara, I was not expecting much. But it is beyond my expectations! The walking safari was the highlight. We were lucky to run into a family of 5 giraffes right at the start of the walking tour. It's amazing walking on soft grass grounds, 10 meters from giraffes, 50 meters from a few buffaloes, with another huge herd of buffaloes 100 meters away on the other side of a small creek, with mountain meru as the background There are also a lot of sighting of baby giraffes, in addition to flamingos lake, hippos lake, lot of monkeys. It's mostly a rain forest, very different look from the other parks. A great way to end my first safari! </p> <p>My guide was amazing. It's low season, I was the only guest in the car, just like a private tour. Highly recommended!</p>
