It is cheaper to take a trolley bus tour around the cemetery. The guide on the bus was very knowledgable and the pace of the tour was good. Just remember to take some water with you. Unfortunately our guide didn’t show up so this is how I know the on site tour is cheaper

My son and I had a great time, our guide was very knowledgeable, we really learned about a lot of history about some of the people buried there, great experience, will definitely book again!! And will request tge same guide!

NEVER book this tour operator! They called to change our morning Arlington Cemetery to afternoon. I never received confirmation of the time change and called, messaged, and emailed them to make contact for two days. They never responded to any of my requests for contact. Today we arrived an hour early for our tour at the designated meeting spot. No tour guide ever showed up. We never left the meeting spot. Finally we got a message that WE had missed the tour. What a lie! They ghosted us and were not responsive to any of our polite requests for contact before the tour. Hopefully Viator will refund our money for this tour.
we are so sorry for any inconvenience .and after investigation we find out you are the only one waa no show and out other guests are our wetness . also for our record you called us at 2:37 looking for the tour guide and you was saying you waiting there since 13:15 thank you for sharing
We did our tour with James and he was very knowledgeable on everything. He went out of his way to take us to the metro so we would find our way back to our hotel. He took us on the metro so we wouldn’t get lost. He was very hospitable and kind. Thanks James!

James was our tour guide and he is phenomenal! He is extremely knowledgeable and courteous! The tour was 2 hours but he would have gone longer if he hadn’t had another tour! It was a beautiful day, and Arlington Cemetery is just amazing! There were crowds, but the space is so open and well controlled. We loved it and highly recommend this tour, especially if you get James!!!

Excellent value for the informative must-do experience! Tips: book for early morning, wear comfy walking shoes, bring water, a hat, and sunglasses. Tour guide and historian, James, is friendly and knowledgeable. He made the most of every minute of a full two hours tour!
