Reiseverlauf

It's a beautiful walk. The weather accompanied us, we could see the volcano very well. Diego the excellent guide. They met the pickup schedule, and the boat ride was great. All very friendly
Fine if you want to see lake Arenal but we didn’t see much wildlife. Snacks on boat were good. Views of the volcano were good. Tour guide friendly and knowledgeable
Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the views of Lake Arenal and the volcano, as well as the snacks on board and the friendliness of your guide. Wildlife sightings can vary from day to day, but our team always does their best to provide an informative and enjoyable experience. We truly appreciate you choosing Jacamar Naturalist Tours and value your comments.
The guide was knowledgeable and informative. The boat was a little uneventful and it was raining heavily but we made the best of it. We would have liked to hike a bit more but it was perfect for our kids (ages 5 and 7). The park is pristine rain forest. The tour company was professional and the van was comfortable. Highly recommended!
Waste of money do not book this. You go on a 5 min walk to the boat, you’re on the boat for 30 mins, then you’re done. Nothing else. I paid for a private tour over $300 and it was horrible.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. After carefully reviewing your reservation and speaking directly with the guide who assisted you (Cindy), we can confirm that the activity provided was Lake Arenal by Boat & Peninsula Trail (National Park), which is exactly what was booked and delivered according to the tour description. This experience includes approximately one hour exploring the peninsula trail inside the national park and one hour navigating Lake Arenal by boat. It appears there was a misunderstanding at the time of booking, as the experience you described aligns more closely with a different tour we offer called Sunset View on Boat at Arenal Lake (Wine & Cheese), which includes additional elements and a different format. Unfortunately, this was not the tour reserved for your visit. We understand how frustrating it can be when expectations don’t align with the experience, and we always encourage guests to contact us before or during the tour so we can clarify any details or assist whenever possible.
Our tour guide Cindy and her team were so sweet and accommodating. Got to see a lot of wildlife. Provided pineapples during our boat ride to Lake Arenal which was delicious. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a shorter excursion
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We’re delighted to know that Cindy and the team made your outing enjoyable and welcoming. They truly love creating memorable moments for our guests. It’s wonderful to hear that the outing offered a nice balance of wildlife, scenery, and comfort. We’re glad the experience fit exactly what you were looking for. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to have the chance to host you again on your next visit to the Arenal area.
Amazing walk and boat ride. The weather is so unpredictable and it rained the entire tour but David the guide made the best of it.
Our guide was very knowledge and all of the nature around us and he was very educated about the volcano and it's history..
Starting and ending points are not the same, however, they do offer an option to pick you up and drop you off at your hotel for a few extra dollars and well worth it. Our tour guide was Jośe and was beyond excellent!
Cindy did an awesome job pointing out birds and animals and looked up the ones she wasn’t sure of. She walked at a nice pace and the boat ride was great fun
We loved every second of this tour. Our tour guide, Melanie, was absolutely wonderful. Her knowledge andnhernpersonality made this experience so incredible. We saw every animal you can possibly imagine on the nature tour portion of the tour. It was so exciting! We got very lucky on the boat tour as well. The clouds lifted just as the Volcano started to come into few and the sky cleared to a beautiful blue. It was exhilarating to see the Volcano so closely. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to LA Fortuna.
