Arenal Ganztägiges Abenteuer: Canopy Tour, Superman, Tarzan Swing, Canyoning Rafting

This is a long day full of adventure. I had never been repelling before. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I actually wish we did more of it. The white water rafting was my favorite activity of the day. Our guide Giancarlo was entertaining and funny. The lunch provided was very good. They also provide you with a snack pack through the day. The view was gorgeous from the zip line.

Our driver William was awesome. The tours guides were a great time and very knowledgeable. They spoke good English and were a ton of fun! Rafting was a blast as well as the Tarzan swing. It was so convenient to have all of the drivers arranged and the timing of everything planned. Lunch was delicious and it was good to see the hotel rescuing dogs.

We did a Full Day Adventure Combo Package with Arenal Evergreen. It included waterfall canyoning, white water rafting, zip lining and lunch. We couldn't find anywhere else that offered all 3 in one day and the price was fantastic! They picked us up right on time for our tour and we were the only ones in the van. Actually, we got private tours the entire day! First we stopped at the grocery store where they brought each of us a snack bag for the day with water, goodies, nuts, etc. We then drove about an hour to the hotel Lands in Love which was our base for the day. We left our things at the front desk and went to our canyoning tour. They offered us a photographer but we declined and wish we hadn't. We also could have taken a camera in a wet bag and it would have been fine. The "waterfall" wasn't really a large waterfall, more of a line of flowing water but the rappelling and picking your way down the canyon line was really fun and it was safe for our 10 year old, who wasn't allowed on any of the other companies' combo tours. Next we went back to the hotel for a rest and snack and on to white water rafting. The rafting tour was on the Balsa River and was level II-III. It was perfect for our son. Not too hard and with lots of places to get in and swim safely but fast enough that I managed to fall in. We saw a couple of sloths on the trip and the guide introduced my son to the weird guava pods, which he loved. Our guide Vladimir was excellent and had a ton of knowledge of Costa Rica and a very fun spirit. We then went on to the zip line tour back near Lands in Love. It ended up also being a private tour with two guides and us. We did lots of zip lines and a Tarzan swing and ended with a superman line which is amazing. We saw a monkey while doing the zip lines. Finally, we ended back at the hotel. Lunch was included with our day but we had missed it so we ate "lunch" at 5 which was our dinner but we had had plenty of snacks. Dinner was great. The driver drove us home and we were back at 7pm. Amazing day!! We did purchase the photo package from the white water rafting which was well worth $20. We got plenty of our own photos on the zip lines. I would highly recommend this tour.
