It was a great experience - the cooking class as well as the dinner with a bunch of lovely people and very sweet hosts. Would definitely recommend and can‘t wait to try the recipes at home.
We expected to cook ourselves. It was just rolling up meat and cutting a roll of dough to make a shell of oriechette. The rest is done by "mom." Sitting outside and eating at 12 degrees is just not it either. There were blankets. The food itself was disappointing in terms of taste and quantity. With 8 participants at least 30 rolls of meat made. On the table came one for each. Bombetta we would have eaten much better elsewhere. In short; at €100 per person, it is far too much money for the experience and taste.
Thank you for your review. It's always helpful to hear from our guests. Unfortunately, I don't fully understand the review: the experience is certainly not private, as stated on Viator. Why did you think you were cooking alone? Mamma Betrice guided you through the dough preparation. You also had a complete family recipe booklet with all the details. You prepared dozens of orecchiette, not just one, and you were personally supervised by our staff. Unfortunately, the evening was a bit chilly, and we also had more than one blanket per person and a brazier. All this at a magnificent table among the vineyards. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. Also, the dinner. Your comment, besides being indecipherable, is also false: I'm sorry. The quantity: you had a dinner with five appetizers, including focaccia (made by you), a meat roll you prepared, a plate of homemade orecchiette (also made by you), where you were even asked if you wanted more; wood-fired meat, dessert, and limoncello, all accompanied by four of our own wines. This is the first time we've heard such a comment about the quality: everything is homemade and cooked in a wood-fired oven, as per Apulian tradition. I'm sorry, but I disagree. Giorgio
A fun evening learning to cook focaccia, bread, bracciole and pasta! Also touring the vineyard and learned about the wines produced at the farm. We enjoyed a delicious feast afterwards. Definitely would recommend!
Good combination of food and wine. They explain how to make foccaci, bread and pasta, make oriechati... and then explanations about wine history. Vincenzo very funny!!!
We had a great evening!! Cooking lessons (pastas) and discovery of the vineyard and these very good wines in beautiful company!! Delicious supper afterwards! I highly recommend!
