If you are looking for a value for money Ha Long Bay junk-boat cruise then this is the one. Our guide Tom aka. Tom Cruise was such a friendly and informative host. The food provided on the cruise was absolutely amazing as well as plentiful. We had an amazing ocean view room with a balcony.
I am visiting Vietnam for a two-week tour, which included this cruise with Apricot. The bus from Hanoi was a bit cramped and was difficult for some of the taller members of our group but the boat was a blast. Karaoke, fishing, tai chi, kayaking, and a class on making spring rolls were some of the unexpected activities we were offered. The amount of food they feed you is also crazy! It just keeps coming and coming.Our guide, Harry, was hilarious, and the cabins were nothing special but adequate. Although we went in January and it was on the cool side, it was still nice to visit the beach and get our feet wet.
The second time I've been to ha long bay, and this time was just as good as the last, food on the boat was great and the staff we're amazing. Tom the guide was knowledgeable and friendly and lead the trip really well. Thanks for the great trip to all the staff.
