Matera ist eine der ältesten Städte der Welt, deren Territorium Zeugnisse menschlicher Siedlungen ab dem Paläolithikum und ohne Unterbrechungen bis heute bewahrt. Es stellt eine außergewöhnliche Seite dar, die der Mensch in den Jahrtausenden dieser sehr langen Geschichte geschrieben hat. Weltkulturerbe seit 1993 und Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2019. Mit dem klassischen und typischen Ape Calessino (Tuk Tuk), einem italienischen Mythos, der von Familien besonders mit Kindern im Rollstuhl sehr geschätzt wird, durchqueren wir die Altstadt und die Sassi, da sie zu Fuß besonders im Sommer sehr ermüdend sind, flitzen Sie durch die Straßen und charakteristischen Gassen, machen Sie kleine Stopps für Fotos und Videos und besuchen Sie Kirchen auf den Plätzen und die charakteristische Case Grotte (Case Museo).

The tour through Matera with the Ape was very nice. Angelo, our driver, was very, very nice and showed us everything. We had booked the German tour, and with a speaker, we were given a little information about Matera. The information was somewhat sparse. This could be improved. Angelo, the best tour guide, made several stops with us so that we could take photos as well. We were able to visit a cave, the city of Matera in miniature view, and not to forget, a church as well. On hot days, this tour is highly recommended.
This is a very basic tour. The guide was very nice but you listen to a short recording at a few stops and 50 minutes later, you are done. It gave a very small taste of Matera. If time and budget allow go for a longer tour with an in person guide (not a recording)

Different languages in our case English the driver did not understand what we were saying. They use a pre recorded device for english
Buongiorno. Le comunico che se c'è un' audio guida pre-recorder in diverse lingue , è perché evidentemente il driver non parla in lingue , ma solo in italiano. Tutto questo è riportato chiaramente nelle informazioni del servizio che avete richiesto. Grazie.
This is by far the best way to see Matera. Our guide, even with limited English, was incredibly helpful and friendly and showed us everything we wanted to see and more. Plenty of time for photographs and getting out and seeing incredible views. This is a great thing for somebody with a mobility issues, and the central Meetup location was easily accessible by taxi.

I wish we had know that the tour was pre-recorded. The info was nice, but we were not able to ask questions. Driver was very nice, but I guess was not fluent in English. Having been asked what language we wanted, I expected a guide that was fluent.
Buongiorno. Le consiglio la prossima volta che richiede un servizio e prenota, di leggere attentamente le informazioni sul servizio e come funziona. Infatti nella descrizione del nostro servizio è riportato chiaramente che durante il Tour ci sarà un audio guida ( pre-recorder ) ripeto audio guida ( pre-recorder) , nella lingua scelta, inglese, francese o spagnolo, questo perché evidentemente Non c'è una guida che parla le diverse lingue, altrimenti Non ci sarebbe stato bisogno di un'audio guida ( pre-recorder). Spero sia stato chiaro. Grazie.
Great time fast and easy fun with kids , would have liked more details on areas we looked at. We got a pre record history and couldn't hear much and was turned on after we looked at the building.
