Antigua ATV Villages Tour
Beschreibung
Diese Tour führt Sie durch das ganze Tal und besucht über 5 Dörfer in der Nähe von oder um Zentral-Antigua. Wir besuchen Orte wie ein lokales Museum für traditionelle Textilien, eine Jadefabrik, eine Schokoladenfabrik und besichtigen die erste im Jahr 1534 in Mittelamerika erbaute Kathedrale. Sie bekommen viele Ausblicke auf die Stadt aus der Luft, sehen die Vulkane aus der Vogelperspektive und begegnen den einheimischen Maya-Dorfbewohnern, die um Antigua herum leben. Sie fahren durch Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen und asphaltierte Straßen. Zum Abschluss der Tour besuchen wir ein lokales Restaurant im Dorf San Pedro El Panorama, das guatemaltekische Gerichte serviert.

Der Treffpunkt für die Tour ist in unserem Büro, hier unterzeichnen wir Ihren Vertrag, geben Ihnen Ihren Helm und erklären Ihnen das ATV.
Wir machen Halt an einer örtlichen Schokoladenfabrik in dieser farbenfrohen Kleinstadt am Fuße des Vulkans Agua. Bei diesem Halt besuchen wir auch eine örtliche Weinhandlung, die Weine aus einer einheimischen Frucht namens „Nispero“ verkauft.
Hier parken wir an der Plaza und besuchen ein Jadegeschäft vor Ort. In der Fabrik werden uns die Prozesse gezeigt, die nötig sind, um aus rohen Jadesteinen edlen Schmuck zu machen. In der Fabrik gibt es auch ein kleines Geschäft, in dem wir eine Auswahl fertiger Produkte wie „Nahuales“ sehen können, aus denen Halsketten, Armbänder und sogar Schlüsselanhänger hergestellt werden.
Wir parken am zentralen Platz und können hinübergehen und die erste Kathedrale besichtigen, die im Jahr 1534 in Mittelamerika erbaut wurde. Nach einem kleinen Spaziergang über den Platz kommen wir zum örtlichen Markt und dort wird uns gezeigt, wie man Tortillas wie die Einheimischen macht. Die Tour führt uns nach San Antonio Aguas Calientes, wo Sie das Textilmuseum und den Markt besichtigen können. Aufgrund der Nähe zu dieser kleinen Handwerkerstadt bietet dieser Halt einige der besten Ausblicke auf den Fuego und den Vulkan Acatenango.
Die Tour endet wieder bei uns im Büro.

Although you visit 4 points on a TV and that is good, there is a lack of information about each town and its culture. They are specific stops at particular places in each town. It is not bad, but it was not what I expected.

We had an amazing experience exploring the villages in and around Antigua. It was easy to book our experience and start our adventure. Driving the ATVs was easy and a great way to get around! Jonny's experience was evident in everything he did, whether it was navigating the streets or sharing historical/cultural information. We would book another experience with Jonny in a heartbeat and highly recommended this adventure!
I loved it! If you are staying for a few days, it is a good tour to specifically get to know important sites for Guatemalan culture. The guide was very friendly and always attentive to the group's safety.

It was my first ATV drive. I did a group Antigua ATV Villages Tour. I had a wonderful time exploring the towns. Our guide, Ethan, was wonderful, ensuring we stayed together and felt comfortable. We had a truly wonderful experience with Daryl. He was very knowledgeable and informed and we learned a lot about the small towns we visited. He was also so patient and easy going with us as I spent lots of time shopping at the different spots. I was initially scared about driving ATVs around but I’m so glad we did this. Visiting the small towns was a great way to immerse ourselves in the culture.
