Annapurna Poonhill Trek

Awesome experience. HCT planned a great trip for us, taking care of the small details and making sure everyone was looked after. I've been to Nepal 5 times and Anis and the team from Himalayan Circuit Trek has been involved in every holiday I've had there. Once again it was well planned and a great experience. From airport pickups, to the great people that guided us from village to village, to the good places we stayed, we were well looked after at each step. Thanks again!

I had an absolutely amazing time !!! I strongly recommend you to choose this company. My journey was 25 days including Annapurna circuit & a few days in Kathmandu & Pakala. They customize an itinerary based on my request. They included items all I wanted to visit & do ! It was my first trekking ever in my life, and I went there solo. I was very nervous however Anish and the team took care of me during my trekking journey. They texted me almost everyday to see if I am trekking ok, not injured, not getting any altitude sickness, my guide is taking care of me or not etc. Their hospitality and the service were incredible. There are so many agencies for trekking however I believe your experience will be completely different if you did not have a great agency support as well as the great trekking guide. My trekking guide Bijaya was very professional, he knows about the mountains and weather a lot by his past 25 years experience, he choose the best route for a day based on those facts as well as my body condition everyday. I could not trek well without him. My guide also took care of my health a lot everyday, making sure I am hydrating well enough, eating well etc. He was buying local fruits, and served me everyday after the dinner and it was so sweet. I would like to go back there again for the trekking with my daughters sometime soon, and I will definitely choose them, and I also want to have the same trekking guide. My Annapurna circuit journey wasn't the same without my amazing agent & the trekking guide !!

We picked the Himalayan Circuit to guide us in our trek to the Annapurna Base Camp because of the flexibility Anish from HC offered in designing a trek route that worked for us. We aren’t experienced hikers and not the fittest so wanted to be free to go at our own pace and do some shorter days on the way up. We did better than expected on the trek and HC were super flexible allowing us to change mid route giving us an extra day in Pokhara. Sunil and Binod, we’re excellent in guiding and helping us and making the whole experience fun. We learnt a lot about life in Nepal from them which added to the richness of the experience. I really appreciated Sunil’s advice and checking our O2 levels. My husband did get mild altitude sickness at the top but we managed well and felt safe at all times. I recommend personalised trekking with HC as the perfect option and particularly if trekking is a new thing for you. Thanks to The team at HC we had a truly amazing experience.

When my husband and I decided to go to Nepal after a wedding in India I researched trekking in the Annapurna area and Anish's company came up with the best reviews. I called him and we talked many times over a 3 month period planning to explore an area we had never been to. Anish listened to our ideas and he crafted the perfect trip for my husband and I. We are seasoned hikers and wanted something challenging. this trek was hard and did not disappoint. We were paired with a very seasoned tour guide, Sanu who was able to assess our abilities and tweak the trip as needed and it worked out perfectly. He was patient with us and was so accomodating of our needs and helped us to understand the Nepalese culture and its people. The staff at Himalayan Circuit is so professional and attentive to every detail. I would highly recommend them to trekkers of all levels.

Loved the experience! I went by bus from Kathmandu and although it is long and the road is a horror the bus was very comfortable. The trecking I did with Sanu a fantastic guide who went at my pace, telling me things when I asked him, flexible and super experienced. He spoke very good English so q perfect. The amazing trecking! I last the first day with so many stairs but it is totally worth it. The hostels where we stayed were very clean and had plenty of blanket and even hot shower! The view upon arriving upstairs spectacular. Highly recommended. The team all the time pending in case there's a problem... All very well! I went alone in February... Although it's cold it's not that big a deal either and there's not that many people so you can have room for yourself.

A good experience, so after completing the first trek to Poon Hill with Himalayan Circuit, I did another to ABC, and then they also planned a trip to Chitwan for me. Anish was excellent in customising each trip, super easy and trustworthy to deal with, and provided 3 great experiences including with friends and solo. The homestay at the Himalayan Circuit premises was also a good place to stay. Good location just outside of Thamel and a welcoming environment. Will definitely be using these guys for my next vacation trip in Nepal.

I was impressed by this different trip. It is not only a long hike, but also requires such a professional company to provide one-stop service. It's so good from boss to employee.
