Angkor Wat ist das größte religiöse Denkmal der Welt und der berühmteste Sonnenaufgang der Welt. Es ist ein erstaunlich großer und ehrgeiziger Komplex, der die Macht und Majestät der alten Angkor-Zivilisation symbolisiert.
Ta Prohm ist eine malerische und attraktive Ruine, die teilweise vom Dschungel zurückerobert wurde. Er ist auch als „Tomb Raider-Tempel“ bekannt, der durch Angelina Jolie im Film von 2001 berühmt wurde.
Ta Keo wurde nie fertiggestellt und hat daher einen ganz anderen Aspekt als die meisten Tempel von Angkor. Seine quadratische, geschichtete Pyramidenform macht ihn zu einem der dramatischeren Orte auf der Tour, und das Klettern auf den Terrassen bietet einige schöne Ausblicke über den Dschungel.
Angkor Thom war die letzte Hauptstadt des Angkor-Reiches. Der Weg führt uns durch das berühmte Südtor, gesäumt von Noch nicht freigeschalteten Göttern und Dämonen. Der Tempel von Bayon in der Mitte des Geländes ist gesäumt von unzähligen selig geschnitzten Gesichtern, die ewig auf den umliegenden Wald blicken. Auf dieser Stadt besuchen wir nur Bayon Tempel, der der Haupttempel dieser Stadt )

Sok was a wonderful guide! He was very informative about the history of Cambodia and the Angkor Wat temples. He also knew the best spots to take a photo. This trip was wonderful! We were hot but the guide and driver made sure we stayed hydrated with cold water and cool with chilled wet wipes. I highly recommend this tour. Without S’ok we would have missed a huge part of all that Angkor Wat has to offer.
