Sie sehen eines der großen Kulturwunder der Welt. Angkor Wat ist das größte religiöse Bauwerk der Welt mit einer Fläche von etwa 160 Hektar und markiert den Höhepunkt der Khmer-Architektur. Es wurde in der ersten Hälfte des 12. Jahrhunderts (1113-1150) erbaut. Es gibt so viel mehr über Angkor Wat zu lernen und zu entdecken. Der Bayon-Tempel ist aus vielen Gründen wichtig. Es diente als erster und einziger buddhistischer Tempel, der vom Angkor (Khmer) Reich erbaut wurde. Ta Keo ist der erste vollständig aus Sandstein erbaute Tempel und gilt als solcher als Meilenstein in der Geschichte der Khmer. Riesige Steinblöcke wurden auf eine normale Größe geschnitten und in Position gebracht. Unglaubliche menschliche Architektur!
Ta Prohm wurde ab 1186 erbaut und war ursprünglich als Rajavihara (Kloster des Königs) bekannt. Es war ein buddhistischer Tempel, der der Mutter von Jayavarman VII. gewidmet war. Sehen Sie mit eigenen Augen, wie die Natur die Tempel zurückerobert.
Banteay Srei wird von vielen als das Juwel in der Krone der Kunst Angkors angesehen. Banteay Srei ist aus rosafarbenem Stein geschnitten und enthält einige der schönsten Steinschnitzereien der Welt. Es wurde 967 n. Chr. Begonnen und ist eine der kleinsten Stätten in Angkor, aber was ihm an Größe fehlt, macht es durch seine Statur wett.

What an amazing experience. Geko was such an amazing host/tour guide. He picked us up super early in the morning, full of smiles and energy to make sure we saw the sunrise at Angkor Watt. He is so knowledgeable and funny and made the experience so great, he took amazing photos for us and had cold cloths and cold water ready for us after each Temple! I highly recommend booking Geko, you will not be disappointed!!
Geko greeted us at 4.30am full of enthusiasm and smiles. He was an excellent tour guide. Provided us with cold water and icy cold wash clothes throughout the day. He knew all the best spots and took the best photographs of our adventures. We even booked him for the next day ! Speaks excellent English and is a lovely man !
I did the sunrise tour with Geko and I can't recommend it enough! Geko made sure we got there at the perfect time to catch the sunrise over Angkor Wat and it was more awesome than you can imagine - no pictures will ever do it justice. Because we started so early, we avoided the crowds and I basically had the rest of the temples to myself to explore the rest of the morning. Geko was knowledgeable, accommodating and had cool towels and water on hand at each stop which was so helpful to keep me refreshed and ready for the next stop. I plan to return to Siem Reap and when I do, I will definitely give Geko a call!

Gecko was punctual picking us up for sunrise n prompt at replying , very kind, respectful. We feel safe the whole time. He's considerate and honest. He's also an amazing photographer, doing his best , helping us pick good spots and offered to take us photos , i appreciate his kindness & i can tell he does it from his heart. Geko was an outstanding tuk tuk driver for my Angkor Wat sunrise tour. He was incredibly punctual, friendly, and respectful, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. When my phone battery died, he even helped take beautiful photos! He also took me to the best temples, including the stunning Banteay Srei (“Pink Temple”), and patiently waited at markets while I explored—we even enjoyed refreshing coconut water in the intense heat together. Highly recommend Geko without hesitation!
