It was my and my daughter's first time to experience At the Top. We did not expect there will be a queue at 9AM. However, once they opened for our batch, the line moved fairly quickly. We learned that it took 6 long years to build the Burj Khalifa. Finally we can say we have gone to that tallest building in the world.
It was a beautiful experience to be able to see how the city looks like at the tallest building in the world! I was with my mom and she really enjoyed the view! Luckily we don’t have fear for heights! Otherwise it will be and extra challenge for us! But the experience is surely unforgettable.
Terrible for both safety regulations. Too many people. Not very personal. Endless queues. Better to see it from outside and enjoy the fountains and the beautiful The mal
We visited in 2014 and had a perfect experience. Our recent visit includes our Daughter in law so we decided to do it again. So sad that her experience was so poor. Still the lovely views but wow they have got greedy, queue so long we had over an hour wait to get up and that was with them taking us through the residential lift. Coming down was even worse. Bad staffing as they chatted around a till while people tried to queue jump which just caused arguments and people getting angry. No apology for the wait even! I would never do it again.
What to say? The building is impressive. I went to see the sunrise and it was a unique experience. A little crowded but it was expected. Don’t expect to take the best selfies in the world from the top because the windows don’t allow good angles. I found it a little expensive but it is worth it to do it at least once
We booked our tickets in advance online and, on the date of our booking, were emailed a time slot to attend. We arrived at the entrance, within Dubai Mall, at the designated time and queued up to gain entry. Once in, we queued to get our physical tickets and then moved to the queue for security. Once through the queue at security we walked along a corridor before joining the queue for the lift (to floors 124 and 125). All in all, we spent an hour standing in queues from the entrance to the “At The Top” in Dubai Mall to actually getting into the lift. It was extremely busy, there was no air conditioning, it was warm - it was just an awful experience, especially considering we were actually allocated this time slot. The lift itself took about a minute to get to 124 and had a nice visual experience on the journey up. When we got to floors 124/125 it was absolutely heaving. The viewing deck was so busy that you could barely get a second to stand at the glass to admire the view before having to move on to let someone else have a look. Even when you did get to the glass, there was so much light and activity on the viewing deck that you could y really see the view all that clearly anyway. We honestly lasted about 10 minutes before getting frustrated and deciding to head back down … and so commenced another 20 minutes of standing in a queue to get the lift back down to ground level. This may be an enjoyable activity if you go at a quieter time, however for me this was just an absolute waste of a few hours of my day. Definitely did not enjoy this experience, and would not recommend.
Worth a visit just as it is the tallest building in the world but plenty of queues. Security is tight as you would expect and is reassuring, they even take your lighters off you. View is amazing although it wasn’t a particularly clear day when we went but that’s your luck, still amazing though. You can upgrade to go up another 30 floors for 600 AED each but we just didn’t think it was with the extra after shelling out approx £100 buying advance tickets which incidentally I would recommend doing as it cuts down you queue time. You’ve got to go up so deffo with it in my book.
Great experience up the Burj - would recommend to anyone who wants to see the Dubai sights. Only issue is pick-up of tickets not clear.. states tickets to be collected from address given before going to event however tickets had to be collected at the burj counter so was misleading. Other than that, great experience & worth the price
We bought an regular ticket for 4pm to see the sunset. We read the reviews which said 90min should be planned to wait in line. Sunset time was between 5:30 and 6pm and we arrived on the top at 6:30pm. If I would have knewn before I would have booked a fast track ticket which cost more than doubled price but definitely this attraction made me loose more than 4hours of my precious limited time in Dubai. I was in very bad mood when I arrived at top and several other guests were at well. I guess this was one of the worst organized tower views I‘ve experienced (I’ve been in shanghai, NY, Chicago, Toronto, etc.) even they way down was connected with a waiting line. I still think this attraction is a must at a trip to Dubai, but it needs a better organization. This experience was the worst one of our trip to Dubai. I even feel for the staff which had a lot of trouble with complaints. Maybe they should think about selling less tickets or limit the time at the top. Also the elevators are too small for this amount of people.
We are very sorry that you didn't get what you expected, but we do not feel responsible for the incidents mentioned in your comment, as we didn't organize a tour for you, we only provided tickets, and we have two options for those tickets Prime/Non Prime according to time of visit. As for fast track / elevator issues, we have no control on those issues, but we will report your comment to the management of "Burj Khalifa At The Top"
A quick climb, I was dizzy and had no stress! Everything is very reassuring! The rapid rise of the elevator leaves no time to think! And on arrival a show to match!
très heureux de savoir que vous avez apprécié, au plaisir de vous servir lors de votre prochaine visite à Dubaï, merci et restez en sécurité
