Viator cancelled my “confirmed and paid” reservation a matter of hours before we were to go to the museum. We were extremely disappointed and upset to not realize this until we had arrived there. We were informed by museum staff that Viator does this often.
The Van Gogh Museum will be interesting for anyone who is interested in Van Gogh’s life and work. That said, we found the experience challenging because of how extremely crowded it was. There were so many people in the galleries that it was difficult to comfortably view the paintings, and at times we couldn’t even find the numbered markers indicating where to begin the audio tour for each room. We also found the audio tour itself somewhat confusing and unclear, which made the overall experience feel a bit chaotic.

Very poor experience. Booked and received booking confirmation number However entry ticket voucher not provided till the scheduled time of entry and had to cancel the plan. Horrible experience in booking with Viator for this trip

Super easy to get in. Definitely more expensive than buying tickets at the Van Museum website. But if you can’t find a good time, this is a good alternative.
