Amsterdam Highlights Fahrrad- oder E-Bike-Tour

We do bike tours in pretty much every city we visit. It’s a great way to see highlights quickly and get your bearings. Mike’s tour did this. The guide, Igor, was very passionate about Amsterdam, keen to share his deep knowledge. With a humorous style. So why only 3 stars? The tour group was full at 15 people. The range of riders spanned competent to unconfident and unskilled. Amsterdam is a busy city - cars, bikes, pedestrians. It’s not a place for a novice rider. Igor did his best, but 15 riders of wide ranging ability riding in single file was a big ask for any guide. Trying to manage the group through the busy streets, talk loudly to be heard by a big bunch, and navigate to time was a tough ask. As it was we ran 30min over time - which was very kind of Igor. But we had little time to take photos - basically at each stop Igor shared his detailed knowledge, q&a from the diverse group, then onwards. At one point the group split in two after a rider toppled sideways at traffic lights. This just highlights the need for a smaller more manageable group of reasonably capable riders for the traffic/cycle/pedestrian conditions! And/or a second guide for this size group.

Wonderful tour of Amsterdam, would recommend. Guide Vincent has an incredible knowledge of his city, so many facts in such a short tour Everyone showed great patience with my wife, who is not the most confident of cyclists.

Gus was brilliant, kept us all safe, lots of good knowledge and great route. The bikes were good, no issues there. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Oh, and Gus, the Albert Cuyp market was brilliant! Thanks for the tip.

This bike tour was the highlight of our short time in Amsterdam. We feel like we hit the jackpot with Katya as our guide! She was so knowledgeable and was so in tune with our group, making sure our experience was tailored to what we wanted to prioritize seeing while also sharing insight only a local would know. We would totally recommend this tour and Katya.

We went on an e-bike tour today, and it was so much fun! Our group was pretty small, which made it feel nice and quaint. Katya was our tour guide, and she was so energetic, knowledgeable, and full of interesting information. She asked us if there was anything special we wanted to see, which made the tour feel somewhat customized. One of the highlights for me was visiting the Holocaust Memorial. It was a very emotional experience, especially for me personally. Katya also took us to a wonderful market where we tasted some amazing cheese and had the best herring I have ever had! Everything was delicious. All in all, this was a fantastic tour, and I highly recommend it. If you book this tour, I would definitely ask for Katya. She made the experience so enjoyable and memorable!

Excellent and enjoyable tour. Safe biking even crossing busy roads - our guide was very conscious of keeping group together and safe. Saw alot of sites around Amsterdam guide was very entertaining and gave us lots of information. Tour did not feel rushed.

Our bike tour was amazing,the guide Gus helped us with cycling protocols and gave a very informative and interesting commentary when we stopped at spots on the way.The staff in the premises who helped us get bikes selected and set up were very professional and helpful.We used e bikes and the cycle was easy I thoroughly enjoyed it, even on a very rainy day.The tour provided ponchos which helped keep the worse of the rain off.Totally 100 percent recommend

Fantastic start to our vacation with a friendly, great guide (Ginny) with a super fun and easy ride around Amsterdam. Saw many beautiful sites with informative breaks with guide telling about history and Interesting facts around town. Highly recommend!

Great tour with Greg, easy ride and we had great weather. A great value and fun! We even went long and saw more than normal.

Connie, our tour guide was terrific. The bikes were in bad shape. The breaks weren't good and two bikes fell apart during the bike trip. You do not need the E-bike becuase you stop and go for the 2.5 hours. It was a great tour.
