Sie werden an einem der schönsten Strände und Landschaften von Playa Teco im Maimon Village reiten. An unserem Teco's Beach können Sie Ihr Pferd in das türkisfarbene Wasser führen.
Hier sehen Sie das Zentrum von Puerto Plata City. B. der Independence Park, die Kathedrale, die Regenschirmstraße, die Pink Street und das Amber and Larimar Museum.
Wir zeigen Ihnen das älteste Denkmal der DR. Dieser ikonische Ort wurde 1536 n. Chr. von Christopher Columbus erbaut. Am Anfang diente es zum Schutz der Stadt vor den Piraten, jetzt ist es ein Museum.
In der Schokoladenfabrik erhalten Sie eine Minitour mit Informationen über die Kakaoplantage, Kakaobohnen und die Verkostung heißer Schokolade. Außerdem erhalten Sie Mamajuana Shots, Drachenfrucht, Passionsfrucht, Kakao-Likör-Shots und dominikanischen Einkaufskaffee.
In unserer Rumfabrik probieren Sie 8 verschiedene Rumsorten, sehen Sie sich ein Video über die Geschichte und den Herstellungsprozess des Rums an. Auch von der Macorix Rum Factory werden wir tolle Fotos in unserem wunderschönen Garten machen.

Our tour guide Carmen was an absolute gem—she truly made this trip special for us. She gave us a personal tour of the rum factory, chocolate factory, mine museum, and local shops. We also got to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city and visit Umbrella Street. She went above and beyond, taking photos for us and even holding our belongings so we could fully enjoy the experience. She felt like part of the family in such a short time, and we were honestly sad to say goodbye. The horseback riding was amazing, and the entire experience was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

One of the best things I’ve ever booked on Viator!!! Well worth the money. We had a private site seeing tour. Tammy picked us up at our hotel. Car was super clean, comfortable. She was amazing. We toured all the major attractions in Puerto Plata. We ended the day with horseback riding in the ocean!!! My favorite part of the trip! Our guides… I can’t remember their names made it super enjoyable. My biggest complaint was I wish I had more $ left for tipping them them!!! I had used most of my $ on the tours leading up to them. I would recommend this 100x over. It was the highlight of our trip!
Be aware the beginning is just a big sales pitch through these different shops and the “beach” horseback riding is on a dirty disgusting trash filled beach. Not to mention most of the riding is through these back random woods and muddy drainage ditches crossing busy asphalt roads with cars whipping by around blind corners, lesson learned going to horseback riding outside the US. Would not recommend.
Wonderful day out seeing the city, then horse ride along the beach. Pablo our guide with the horses was excellent. 👌 Hannah, who showed us around the city, was very friendly and helpful. We lived all of it.
Our experience was extremely great, our 2 tour guides WILLIAM and Carmen were very good and let us start earlier because we were there and ready. They also let us stop for lunch and took us to a couple extra places and provided drinks to us. I would definitely book with them again
William and Carmen were by far the best tour guides we ever had. Knowledge of the history the sights we went to and all around great people. They treated is like family and even went to lunch at a local restaurant. We will for sure will request them when we go back to the Dominican.
We had a great experience. The total trip was perfect. Did a hike up to a waterfall and came sliding down in the water my wife loved it, then we went to a local shop where they were making cigars and lots of chocolate. We finished up with a horse ride with just me and my wife finished up the guide my wife ride's and owns horses she loved the horse she was ride and it like the water and she always dreamed of riding a horse in the ocean. It was a perfect day for her. Thanks a lot really appreciate your help in your hospitality.
We pre booked our tour online and received confirmation and exact instructions on where to meet. We arrived 10 minutes prior to arrival time and were greeted by a very cordial hostess, Carmen. She informed us our guide, Tammy, would be along shortly and we were the only cruisers who had booked the tour on this day. Our now, "private tour", would become one of our favorite experiences on our cruise aboard the Star Princess. Tammy was the perfect guide/driver one could ask for. In addition to being Informative and outgoing, she went out of her way to make sure any requests we had were met. Whether it was providing us an umbrella during a sudden rain shower or offering to get her car and pick us up due to rain and distance, she went beyond what we expected. The sites and experiences were as promised. The horse back riding and our guides were very good and got us a nice experience of local farms and beach area near our cruise port, Amber Cove. When the tour would have normally been over, Tammy asked if there was anything else we would like to do. Per our request, she took us to a beach for locals where my wife got a massage right by the shore and I was able to bathe in the beautiful waters as I waited for her and enjoyed some adult refreshments. Can't say enough of the enjoyment we received on this tour and much of it can be attributed to Tammy.
We had a lot of fun doing this excursion. The tour guide and driver are so friendly. So worth money.
