Nach dem Abholen vom Hotel fahren Sie etwa eine Stunde nach Jerusalem und beginnen einen schönen Spaziergang durch die faszinierende Altstadt, durch die Höhepunkte des armenischen Viertels, des muslimischen Viertels, des jüdischen Viertels und des christlichen Viertels. Wir werden etwas über Judentum, Christentum und Islam lernen. Wir besuchen den "Shuk", der als "Suk" bekannt ist - den örtlichen Basar und besuchen den Cardo - die antike römische und byzantinische Straße. Besuchen Sie den heiligsten Ort für das jüdische Volk, das "Kotel" - die Klagemauer, wo wir einen Wunsch auf ein Stück Papier schreiben und in die Ritzen der Mauer stecken können. Übersehen Sie den Bereich, in dem sich der Tempelberg befindet. Fahren Sie weiter zum christlichen Viertel, um den heiligsten Ort der Welt zu besuchen - die Kirche des Heiligen Grabes -, wo Sie die letzte Station des Kreuzes der Via Dolorosa besuchen. Wir werden Golgatha sehen, wo Jesus gekreuzigt wurde, und wir werden die Edikula-Struktur sehen - den Ort des Grabes, an dem Jesus begraben und auferstanden ist. Besuchen Sie das muslimische Viertel, um einen der heiligsten Orte der Muslime zu besichtigen - den Felsendom und die Al-Aqsa-Moschee - und erfahren Sie mehr über die islamische Geschichte dieser Orte. Our tour of Jerusalem with Avi was one of a kind. We took a walk through different parts of Jerusalem the day before Passover and visited the holy sites of many different religions. Along the way, we stopped to get a quick bite, drink a coffee, and taste some local specialties. Our tour guide Avi was very knowledgable and provided us with historical insights that allowed us to understand the city in all of its complexities and contradictions. We were in a small group, so it was much easier to coordinate what we wanted to and when we wanted to do it. This allowed for ample shopping time and a smooth, relaxed pace. We saw all the important stops without feeling rushed, and Avi even helped us locate different shops where we wanted to buy specific items or find some gifts to bring back home to family and friends. All in all, a highly memorable and recommended experience!

If you really want to see the holy city in great details, this is the way to do it. I just finished the tour with three participants and walked the walk. Excellent tour guide Arora(?) and saw many places the big groups wouldn’t go. Arora is very knowledgeable and did a good job. Thumb up.
We decided to book this tour to help us navigate Jerusalem as newcomers. It turned out to be an incredible journey through the amazing history of the city, through knowledge but also trough a deep personal connection. We appreciated Avi’s deep understanding of the culture, the people and the history of this incredible place, and how he makes you actually understand among the complexity of it. Our group ended to be only 4 participants which made a very intimate cozy group. All questions were welcomed and despite the scorching heat, Avi was able to take us comfortably to all places.
