Excellent service from start to finish! The tour was well-organized, and the operator was professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. Highly recommend for a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

I’ve scored our « guided tour » 1 star, as it is simply not what we paid for and the customer service has been shocking. We paid £92 per person for a tour with a guide with a specific itinerary in October 2025. What we got was a driver taking us to some beautiful sights of Mauritius, but not a guided tour. The driver also changed the itinerary (for instance we didn’t get to go to Gris Gris beach) but took us to many « duty free » shops. It felt like he was maybe working on commission. We didn’t want to buy a £400 cashmere in the first shop, which you would think he understood that we wouldn’t be interested in the second, third or fourth shop either. Before going to the Chamarel Distillerie, the driver took us to a shop to try some free rum. We went in the shop and left immediately as we understood he was only trying to get us to buy some goods again. Also, there was no bottled water in the car and no AC. There was water, in a bottle that wasn’t sealed so we didn’t drink from it. Mauritius is a beautiful country, but I think this « tour » depends mainly on the driver (or guide) you get. I read another review that agrees to my views. For clarity, we later booked ourselves a private driver to take us to Pamplemousse gardens and Port Louis, and we got more informations about Mauritius, its people, the religions, its history… from him than from our « guide ». I would not recommend. Better to book a private taxi and make your own itinerary. I am currently in touched with customer services about this services. They have acknowledged our concerns but the matter hasn’t been resolved yet, and we are not back home in England. Hope this review helps!

Various and exceptional landscapes whether it is the sacred lake, waterfall rooms or land of 7 colors. Driver very gentleman and very good guide

A nice tour with lots of sites to visit, we booked out trip for a sunday and the provider postponed it for monday as they said the Chamarel rhum is closed on sundays. Thank you Mr Sannjv

Great explanation of our guide Shiba, the rhum tasting was absolutely the best one, we got so many information about rhum making on this tour. The viewpoints were breathtaking. Will defitively visit the island again

This is not a guided tour, the driver took us to various places and gave us time to take photos. No water was provided and because we were only picked up at 9, we couldn't get to see all the items on the itinerary. The lunch was salad, curry chicken and ice-cream. It might have been a typical lunch, but I could have eaten that food at home. Restaurant was a bit dirty. The Rhumerie Chamarel was good, we tasted about 10 different types of rum. Seven coloured earth was fascinating and the colours were very clear on the clear day we were there. I advise you not to buy rum at the first place you stop, it is very overpriced. Rather wait to buy at Chamarel or get in one of the towns.

Very rushed, 10 hours in a car with no water offered. Didn't see 2 of the places advertised. AVOID!!

The “guide” was only a chauffeur, as his English was poor and he could understand only the basic phrases, so we got no information from him about the attractions, culture, etc. In general, the itinerary was very tight and absolutely not feasible within 7-8 hrs, as mentioned in trip info. We spent minimum time at each stop (less than dedicated time based on itinerary), therefore we had absolutely no time to enjoy the places (just rushing from place to another place). We even skipped Rochester Falls as the driver told us that it is a dangerour place and we will not go there. The driver was driving very very fast and speeding the whole time, as the itinerary was tight. Despite all the points mentioned above, the trip lasted more than 9 hrs, so the organization was very poor (taking into account we are 2 young people, not old couple or a family with kids, who would require more time). Throughtout the whole trip the AC was turned off. We think it is absolutely not worth 240$ we paid.
