After an hour of waiting, they changed guides due to overbooking, so they provided an external guide not affiliated with the company. We were completely satisfied with their kindness and professionalism. A 10 for her.
Excellent visit, a splendid site rich in history and legends that Carina, our guide, perfectly introduced us to. We left enchanted by this experience despite not having visited the Nasrid palaces (an error on our part)! A big thank you to Carina once again!
Caution! Do not book! Tourist trap!! A personal guide is being sold, everything should be included, including Nasrid palaces. On site, we were then enticed with an audio tour and promised a €50 refund if we returned before 8:30 PM after the tour. The audio tour was well explained. We did not receive any money back; they said it was our fault! The Nasrid palaces are not included in the price!! Ultimately, it would have been much cheaper on the official site, and you don't have to wait in line there; that's also a sales tactic!! I complained and expressed my honest opinion upon inquiry; I was offered that a manager would contact me, but even 10 days later, nothing has happened! Stay away from my top tours!!
Mit freundlichen Grüßen Ihr My Top Tour-Team
The views of the castle, gardens, and Sierra Nevada mountains are amazing. Lots of walking. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Hi Nicole, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to know that you enjoyed the views, the gardens and the unique setting of the Alhambra with the Sierra Nevada in the background. Your advice about comfortable shoes and water is also very helpful for future visitors. Best regards, Your My Top Tour team
The young woman who accompanied us during this visit was wonderful. Whether in terms of organization or the relevance of her comments, which delighted us. However, having visited this palace, which is not really one, more than thirty years ago, the conditions were not the same, and there were many fewer people. I found the visit to be very limited and restricted to the outdoors.
Cordialement, Votre équipe My Top Tour
This tour is a rip off. It says Alhambra but does not include most of the important sites of the Alhambra. You do not get the Patio of Lions or Patio de Comares or any of the places that you see in pictures. Instead you get the Palace of Charles V which is free to the public. Very disappointing that Viator would resell this tour. I want my money back.
Hi Delia, we’re sorry to read that the visit did not meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment if you expected to visit areas such as the Patio of the Lions or the Patio de Comares. These spaces are part of the Nasrid Palaces, whose tickets are very limited and sell out quickly. For this reason, not all Alhambra products include access to the Nasrid Palaces. At the time of booking, the product options indicate which areas of the Alhambra are included in the visit. The Alhambra is a large monumental complex, and the itinerary can vary depending on the selected option and ticket availability. If you believe the information shown in your booking did not match the service received, please contact us with your booking reference so our team can review your case in detail. Best regards, Your My Top Tour team
STAY AWAY — this is a scam. This is not the official Alhambra website. They may not say it directly, but the site is designed to make people believe it is official. They charge five or six times more than the official price, claiming the extra cost is for “customer service,” which in my experience was extremely poor or practically nonexistent. Use the official website instead: https://www.alhambra-patronato.es/ Please check for yourself before buying. My family was scammed, and I don’t want the same thing to happen to yours. Save your family from this.
Hello Hector, we’re sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We’d like to clarify that My Top Tour is not the Alhambra’s official website, but a tourism company offering booking services, ticket management, guided tours and customer support for visitors. The final price includes not only the admission ticket, but also booking management, customer service before and during the visit, and access to our own audio guide, which is developed and updated by our team. We’re sorry if the customer service you received didn’t meet your expectations. During busy periods, response times may be longer, but our team continues to work to assist every customer as soon as possible. We understand your frustration, but labelling us a scam is a very serious accusation. We will take your feedback on board to continue improving the clarity of the information provided to customers. Best regards, Your My Top Tour team
Do not ever book a tour or buy tickets through them. They are a SCAM. They are the first on the list in the google search, but if you do some research in the prices, you will find they sell more than double-priced tickets. Unfortunately we did this after our visit to Alhambra. We were not able to go to Nasrid palaces - the main attraction, and we faced the fact at the arrival. We were part of a group of about 20 people, and the tourguide lady - Christina - said only two person will go with her to the complete tour, which includes the nasrid palaces. She also said she is doing these tours for 16 years. The others, including us were furious, but we could do nothing. And about the prices: the official site sells complete tickets for 22 euros, we bought it for 50 per person. We were not careful enough, they do this to hundreds/thousands of people constantly. I hope they will have a painful death, they deserve it.
Hi, we’re sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that My Top Tour is not the official Alhambra ticket office, but a tourism company offering booking services, ticket management, guided experiences and customer support for visitors. Regarding access to the Nasrid Palaces, this depends on the product selected during the booking process and on the availability of that specific access. If you believe that your booking included the Nasrid Palaces and you were not able to access them, we would need your booking reference to review the case properly and verify exactly what happened. The final price does not only include the entrance ticket itself, but also the guided tour, the management of the reservation and the services associated with the experience. All prices and included services are shown before completing the purchase. We understand your frustration, but calling us a scam and wishing harm on our team are very serious statements. Best regards, Your My Top Tour team
The ticket does not include entrance to the Nasrid palaces which is what everyone understands as the Alhambra. It's a visit to the Eiffel Tower but you can't go upstairs, just see it from the outside. A scam let's go.
One of the worst tour experiences we’ve ever had. I rarely write reviews, but in this case I genuinely feel it’s important to warn others. When we tried to book tickets to the Alhambra two months in advance, the official website redirected us to My Top Tour. As soon as they received our payment, we were flooded with emails—mostly in Spanish—which made communication unnecessarily difficult. Their app was also very confusing and not user-friendly. Things got worse when we arrived in Granada. Our tour time had been changed without proper notice. The company claimed they had contacted us via email and WhatsApp—but we don’t even have WhatsApp. When we questioned this, the staff became rude and dismissive instead of trying to resolve the issue. At one point, we even witnessed them throwing cash at an elderly couple who were asking for a refund after having their reservation mishandled. That alone was shocking and unprofessional. Unfortunately, the tour itself didn’t improve the experience. Our guide, who went by “Hannah,” openly stated she disliked hearing “Hannah Montana,” which set an odd tone from the start. She seemed frustrated and disengaged throughout. The tour felt rushed, questions were met with irritation, and several people’s audio devices kept cutting out. Rather than addressing the issue, she blamed the group for not keeping up. If you’re visiting the Alhambra and end up with this company, I strongly recommend skipping the guided tour and opting for an audio guide instead. At least you’ll be able to move at your own pace, actually hear the information, and enjoy the experience without feeling disrespected.
