Ein Spaziergang durch die berühmten Sassi, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehören. Schlendern Sie durch die labyrinthartigen Gassen der in den Fels gehauenen Häuser. Matera, das Juwel der Basilikata, ist möglicherweise die drittälteste, durchgehend bewohnte Siedlung der Welt. Natürliche Höhlen im Tuffstein, die freigelegt wurden, als die Gravina ihre Schlucht schnitt, zogen vor etwa 7000 Jahren die ersten Bewohner an. Auf ihnen wurden kunstvollere Bauwerke errichtet. Wenn man heute über die Schlucht auf Materas zusammengedrängte Sassi (Höhlenwohnungen) blickt, fühlt man sich in das alte Heilige Land zurückversetzt.
Die Fahrtroute kann je nach Verkehrslage variieren. Die Reihenfolge der Besuche in Matera und Alberobello kann umgekehrt werden.
Die UNESCO-Welterbestätte Alberobello gleicht einer urbanen Ansammlung – für Gnome. Die Zona dei Trulli auf dem westlichsten der beiden Hügel der Stadt ist eine dichte Ansammlung von 1500 bienenstockförmigen Häusern, deren Spitzen wie mit Schnee bestäubt sind. Diese Trockenmauergebäude sind aus lokalem Kalkstein gebaut; keines ist älter als das 14. Jahrhundert.

Enchanting, and dream like. A must see when you’re in Bari. You can get lost in the city and it’s amazing. The history is felt in every corner you turn. In addition, there are many shops and restaurants to explore as well as beautiful photo backdrops!

Welcome in front of a new and clean mini van, in which we settled for a scenic trip along the Bari seafront, which took us to Alberobello. Extremely professional, smiling and above all helpful guide. She took care of my husband, who after an operation still has difficulty walking, finding the right balance with the rest of the group. In Matera they offered us an even better service at no additional cost, a gesture that we greatly appreciated! A very special attention to the participants. Great price!
