Das Taj Mahal in Agra, Indien, ist ein atemberaubendes Mausoleum aus weißem Marmor, das von Mogulkaiser Shah Jahan in Erinnerung an seine Frau Mumtaz Mahal erbaut wurde. Es wurde 1653 fertiggestellt und ist UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe und Symbol der ewigen Liebe. Seine komplizierte Architektur, die schönen Gärten und der reflektierende Pool ziehen Millionen von Besuchern weltweit an.
Agra Fort ist ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe und eine der beeindruckendsten Festungen in Indien. Nur 2,5 km vom Taj Mahal entfernt in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, war es die Hauptresidenz der Mogulkaiser bis 1638, als sich die Hauptstadt nach Delhi verlagerte.
Itimad-ud-Daulah, oft auch "Baby Taj" genannt, ist ein wunderschönes Mogulmausoleum in Agra. Es wurde zwischen 1622 und 1628 von Nur Jahan für ihren Vater Mirza Ghiyas Beg erbaut und markiert einen Wandel von rotem Sandstein zu weißem Marmor in der Mogularchitektur. Das Grab ist reich mit aufwendigen Intarsienarbeiten und filigranen Schnitzereien verziert, was es zu einem Vorläufer des Taj Mahal macht.
Jama Masjid in Agra, erbaut 1648 von Shah Jahans Tochter Jahanara Begum, ist ein atemberaubendes Beispiel der Mogularchitektur. Es besteht aus rotem Sandstein mit weißen Marmoreinlagen und verfügt über einen großen Gebetssaal, Kuppeln und elegante Minarette. In der Nähe von Agra Fort gelegen, bleibt sie eine aktive Moschee und ein Symbol von historischer und spiritueller Bedeutung.
Fatehpur Sikri, ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe in der Nähe von Agra, wurde von Kaiser Akbar im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut. Diese Stadt aus rotem Sandstein diente für kurze Zeit als Mogulhauptstadt. Es zeigt eine Mischung aus hinduistischer und islamischer Architektur und beherbergt Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid und das Grab von Salim Chishti. Fatehpur Sikri bleibt ein Symbol für Akbars architektonische Vision und säkulare Herrschaft.

Amazing tour - very informative and lots of enthusiasm despite the heat. Always willing to take pictures and paid for our waters whenever we needed. Definitely would recommend!!! Even went further to take us on different experiences such as gold piece sowing which was also very different but fun to see India’s culture.
Raman and his son were very helpful in arranging the trip. Our driver to Jaipur and New Delhi, Deepak Sharma, was very personable and understanding. We would recommend this trip operator and driver to others.
If there is one word one could describe the agency of this tour that is professionalism. From the continuous contact before and during the tour to the of the path of the touristic sightseeing chosen gems but there lies the beauty. Provided the time allows customisation is at option and a big thanks that they tried to fulfill specific interests. In a nutshell a value for money choice that will make the traveller leave India with a positive"spicy" experience. As for the driver, Deepak, which is always a key ellement in such trips not only he was polite and helpful but did make sure to experience even some behind the scenes corners of the beautiful country of India.
Sonu was a great guide and showed us around the city. His driving was safe too! He showed us around the rug markets and the marble carving.
I owner made me feel like my safety in Agra was important to him whether during my tour or outside of the tour. If I got into a bind, I believe they would have been there to help. My guide Lucky was flexible with my destinations, informative about the monuments, told great stories, and was able to answer all my questions. We even got into a interesting conversation about numerology that was spot on. My driver Deepak was a wonderful driver with a great sense of humor. He went above and beyond to take me to a couple extra places I wanted to see. Communication was great from start to finish.
