Unsere Reise beginnt am Yachthafen von Agios Nikolaos. Nach einer kurzen Sicherheitseinweisung können Sie die wunderschöne Küste von Mirabello bewundern. Etwa 1 Stunde später erreichen wir unseren ersten Badestopp in der Bucht von Kolokytha, wo Sie das berühmte türkisfarbene Wasser genießen und Schnorcheln und SUP-Paddeln ausprobieren können. Nach etwa 1 Stunde haben Sie die Möglichkeit, unser exklusives Menü zu genießen, das kretische Vorspeisen, Shrimp Linguini oder Pilzrisotto und eine Platte mit mediterranen und tropischen Früchten umfasst. Danach wird das Boot ablegen, um die ikonische Insel Spinalonga zu umsegeln und Sie werden die Gelegenheit haben, sie vom Meer aus zu bewundern, das die atemberaubendste Aussicht bietet, bevor Sie die Segel setzen, um nach einem Tag voller großartiger Erinnerungen zurück zur Marina zu fahren.

Spinalonga wurde 1962 von seinem letzten Bewohner verlassen und ist laut UNESCO ein Denkmal von herausragendem universellem Wert. Die Welterbekonvention beschreibt die Insel als „ein wichtiges Beispiel für eine seewärts gerichtete Festung, die wichtige Phasen der Menschheitsgeschichte darstellt“ und „ein Meisterwerk menschlichen Einfallsreichtums“, das „menschliche Werte demonstriert“. Spinalonga hatte eine turbulente Geschichte, beginnend mit dem 7. Jahrhundert, als arabische Überfälle die Insel entvölkerten. Es blieb unbewohnt bis ins 16. Jahrhundert, als die Venezianer, die Kreta besetzten, begannen, dort Salz aus Meerwasser zu gewinnen.
Kolokytha (bedeutet „Kürbis“) ist eine kleine, unberührte Halbinsel und Strandgebiet direkt gegenüber der Bucht von Spinalonga Island, in der Nähe von Elounda im Nordosten Kretas. Es ist bekannt für sein türkisfarbenes Wasser, seine ruhige Atmosphäre und ausgezeichnete Möglichkeiten, das Meeresleben und die natürliche Schönheit zu erkunden. Great tour, smooth sailing, delicious food, plenty of drinks, fabulous company, fun people, a must do.
Many thanks to Lukas and Fiedra for a superb afternoon. We were welcomed warmly, given drinks and set off not long after. We were very comfortable on the boat. We had two stops which were beautiful and Lukas knew a lot about the area. At the second stop Fiedra cooked. What she made in the tiny galley was remarkable. We would recommend this trip to anyone. Go for the 3pm sailing if you want to see the sunset.
From the moment we boarded to boat to the second we disembarked, Captain Lukas and Fitri were the perfect hosts. We were made to feel welcome with coffee, juice, pastries and cake. At our first stop we had the opportunity to snorkel in clear blue waters. We then headed around Spinalonga, then onwards to our lunch stop. Lunch was fresh, plentiful and delicious. We also had the opportunity to paddle board, snorkel and swim here too. Thank you Lukas and Fitri for giving us our best trip ever in Crete.
Our private Spinalonga, Kolokytha, and Agios Nikolaos catamaran cruise was nothing short of exceptional and was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip to Greece. From the moment we stepped aboard, we knew we were in great hands. Captain Loukas was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and completely focused on ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. He expertly navigated the beautiful waters of Crete while creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. His passion for what he does truly shines through. The scenery was breathtaking, with crystal-clear turquoise waters, stunning coastal views, and unforgettable stops around Spinalonga and Kolokytha. Every moment felt like something from a postcard. A special thank you also goes to Chef Vasilis, whose food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We have enjoyed many meals while traveling, but the meal onboard this catamaran was genuinely one of our favorites during our time in Greece. The quality, presentation, and taste exceeded all expectations. The catamaran itself was immaculate, comfortable, and luxurious. The private experience allowed us to fully relax, enjoy the beauty of Crete, and celebrate together without feeling rushed. The attention to detail from both Loukas and Vasilis made us feel like honored guests rather than tourists. If you’re visiting Crete and considering this excursion, stop looking and book it. The combination of spectacular scenery, exceptional service, a world-class meal, and the personal hospitality provided by Captain Loukas and Chef Vasilis creates an experience you will remember for a lifetime. This boat trip was amazing from start to finish. The crew were kind and welcoming, their cooking skills are incredible and this was honestly the best part of our week trip to Crete.

Fantastic experience for me and my partner, the crew were amazing, even when my partner lost his earring in the sea the crew volunteered to dive in looking for it (sadly lost forever☹️), delicious food as well as being told so much information about the island of Crete and where we were visiting. We were a small group of 10 and easily able to interact with everyone. The views were stunning and we would recommend! 5 starrrrssss Love Sophie and Charlie ❤️
