Afro-brasilianische Geschichte und Immersionsrundgang

Beschreibung

I completed the favela tour with my girlfriend and we had an excellent time. The tour host Gustavo had expert knowledge of the area and had lots of positive energy which made the tour one of the best experiences we have had in Rio. The tour included breathtaking views over the whole city at the top of the favela, and a walk through the streets. We also learned lots about the local area, how favelas operate, and daily life in a favela.
She knows Rio! She’s very knowledgeable and kind. She’s always willing to adjust to your desires. Look no further. She’s one of the best.
We went on a tour of Rocinha favela, it was so much fun. Started off with a drive to the bottom of the hill and then a motorbike taxi to a beauty spot. We drove in a convoy on the bikes which was lots of fun. The guides Patrick and Dindara gave us insights and history about the tour throughout. They knew many of the people in the neighbourhood and we were made to feel very safe throughout. I would highly recommend doing this tour with them for a great and safe experience! Cannot thank them enough for the highlight of my trip into Rio!
I did the tour with Dandara , I really enjoyed it. highly recomended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did the Morro Dois Irmaos (Two Brothers) hike with Dandara and had an incredible experience. Booking and meeting her was easy and smooth. Very fast and efficient communications. Dandara is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the history and social structures of the area. This made for a really fun and informative trip. She also brings a professional camera for photos at the top. I would certainly recommend to all!!
Thank you very much for your review Mohamed! Warm Hugs from Rio, Dandara Siqueira.
Went with the Dandara on the two brothers hike. I had a really great time. Dandara clearly enjoys her job and it helps the experience tremendously. She not only told us interesting things about the hike but about life in the favelas themselves. I felt very safe the whole time and Dandara is very easy to talk to. She was happy to answer any questions and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her as a tour guide. It's definitely worth it.
Thank you very much for your review Ciaran ! Warm Hugs from Rio, Dandara Siqueira.
Had a guided tour in Santa Teresa. It was very nice. I highly recommend bar Do Alto and it's peanuts. I love them! Dandara was an excellent guide and had very good local knowledge.
Dandara, the ultra cool owner of Jainero Tours, led me on a city walking tour of Rio that I shall never forget. We started with a wonderful restaurant in Santa Teresa which was like eating in a café in Paris, after which we walked the winding streets atop this hilly section of the city, then down the famous stairway, full of art, colorful flowers, and smiling people, many of whom seemed to know Dandara! Afterwards we walked for hours that felt like minutes, while she described and EXPLAINED the history of Rio and Brasil in a way that brought to life the city’s interesting history, especially it’s roots in Africa and slavery and European colonialism. She took me to markets, showed me museums, city offices, and all the things that makes Rio a living vibrant world-class city. We end up at the “art wall”, a series of huge murals, the largest in the world. The entire experience caused me to fall in love with Rio, and made me want to move there! I cannot say enough about Dandara, how pleasant, intelligent, and interesting a person she is. I highly recommend anyone interested in learning and loving Rio, to take her tour! Opá Dandara!!
It’s been nearly a month since I’ve been to Rio and I’m still in awe of how beautiful the city is. While there, I used Dandala for two guides- an amazing hike in a favela and a tour of Santa Theresa with amazing views. She was so damn knowledgeable, patient and incredibly friendly. She gave me the history or Brazil, showed me the significance of the sights we were seeing and was beautiful. 10/10 would recommend!
The walking tour was really vibey and the tour guide was very knowledgable and easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a great experience.
