Most of the displays were broken. No guides or activities worked well. Disappointing displays and no public transport without a 1 km walk. Lockers for bags were broken and dodgy. All around a lot of money for an underwhelming experience.
I enjoyed seeing the history of aircraft and the displayed planes & jets one could walk inside of. It was well organized and i recommend the combined ticket with Airbus tour. The nearby restaurant was understaffed, but staff were very friendly & accommodating as we only had a short time before our Airbus factory tour bus. I had an excellent roasted chicken lunch!
A great experience: a very large hangar with various planes, you don't know where to look anymore! You can enter the Concorde and an Airbus A300 to visit as you wish and see the interior of a Super Guppy. Two tarmacs exhibit other Airbuses and a Beluga, you feel so small! A great place for plane enthusiasts with lots to see. Free easy parking, not too long waiting with friendly staff. Comfy shoes are recommended for the stairs. It does get hot in the hanger too so water recommended. Easy to take lots of photos. Worth a look around the gift shop. I would allow at least 2 hours to look around. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed
If you love planes you will love it here. Lots of information of interesting facts on planes of all types. You get to see models of planes as well as physically go on them. Very interesting museum; the tour of the Concorde and the A380 is great. The Beluga is impressive, but you cannot visit the interior yet. Overall we liked it a lot, but the potential of this museum is not exploited enough. It's quite old-fashioned in the hangar; there could be more interactive and fun things.
