Unsere erste Station ist die Sheikh Zayed Grand Moschee, eine der größten und schönsten Moscheen der Welt. in der Lage, eine beeindruckende Anzahl von über 30.000 Gläubigen unterzubringen. - Die Sheikh-Zayed-Moschee in Abu Dhabi ist von Sonntag bis Donnerstag zwischen 8.30 Uhr und 11.30 Uhr für Besucher geöffnet.
- Damen, die die Moschee besuchen, müssen ihren Kopf mit einem Schal bedecken und tragen keine Shorts, Strandkleidung oder ärmellose Outfits, da sie vollständig bedeckt sein müssen.
- Männer, die die Moschee besuchen, sollten lange Hosen tragen
- Die Kulturstiftung und der Al Husn Palast sind wegen Renovierungsarbeiten in Abu Dhabi geschlossen und daher nicht in die Reiseroute von Abu Dhabi aufgenommen
- Die Öffnungszeiten des Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi sind: Mo-Do & Sa, So 9: 00-13: 00 Uhr und 17: 00-21: 00 Uhr. Fr von 17:00 bis 21:00 Uhr.

We had a great day with our driver Umair Shah. He explained everything in detail to us about the individual sights. Also the time we visited the mosque etc. was still quite empty of crowds. All in all, we can highly recommend Umair Shah to spend a great stopover day in Abu Dhabi.

Good summary of Abu Dhabi. Guide M. Dubais gave good explanations about life, culture and economy of Abu Dhabi. Instructive. All a bit far apart though.
